We contacted Bennett’s internet department and were working with Antonia. She was great to work with and provided us with all of the information before we arrived at the dealership. Once there, Cesar t working with Antonia. She was great to work with and provided us with all of the information before we arrived at the dealership. Once there, Cesar took care of everything and we closed the deal on our new Camry. All of the Bennett team we worked with including Antonia, Cesar, and the Sales Manager Nardo were very professional. It was a fun, no stress experience. I would recommend Bennett Toyota for my family and friends. More
Went to Bennett as a returning customer and they would not work with me. Gave them a few chances to work a deal and spent about an hour negotiating and we were still thousands of dollar apart. Went to Kra not work with me. Gave them a few chances to work a deal and spent about an hour negotiating and we were still thousands of dollar apart. Went to Krause and we had a BETTER deal than I even asked for at Bennett in about 15 minutes. Don't waste your time haggling with Bennett when you can go to Krause and get a BETTER deal in less time. I was looking to trade in my 2010 LandRover LR4 for a new (2013) Toyota Highlander, so Bennet was the obvious choice (that's where I bought my LandRover, and they have dealerships for both brands, so the ser (2013) Toyota Highlander, so Bennet was the obvious choice (that's where I bought my LandRover, and they have dealerships for both brands, so the service guy at LR assured me they'd be able to give me a competitive price). My salesman, Kevin Smith, was great: very straightforward, knew the product, and had the sale made except for the price negotiation. I had done my homework and knew what the trade-in was worth and what the new car should cost. I know dealerships are in business to make money, so I wasn't looking for an unreasonable deal, just a fair deal. I expected a difference between my trade and the new car to be about $1,500 (i.e., I would owe the dealer $1,500). The sales manager's initial offer was for me to give them $7,000. I practically laughed and asked why the trade value was so (ridiculously) low. That started a 3-hour marathon of them making me sit there and wait while the sales manager received imaginary phone calls from imaginary buyers who miraculously offered progressively better deals on my trade-in with each call. He also told me I couldn't possible rely on the numbers I had researched at Kelly Blue Book, Edmunds, and NADA websites. I think this was perhaps the most offensive part of the whole encounter - that the sales manager seemed to think I would fall for his car-salesman lines, and he did his best to imply - without ever saying it - that I was uninformed. The condescension was so bad I think the even the salesman was cringing. After 3 hours, they only came down to a difference of $4,500 - way too high. I walked out. Was I expecting an unreasonable deal? Apparently not. I called a dealership in Maryland and they gave me the deal I wanted OVER THE PHONE, without even looking at my trade-in. I am now a loyal customer of Thompson Toyota in Edgewood, Maryland. They were everything I expected Bennet to be - friendly, efficient, and fair. I will never buy a car from Bennet again. The funny part is that after this fiasco, I went to the "value my trade in" program on Bennett's own website, and it told me my old car was worth MORE than my other research had suggested. So I guess Bennet's own website is the most unreliable of them all. Also, they said they couldn't find any numbers for the retail value of the old car (what they could sell it for). It took my husband 5 minutes to find 4 of the same cars in Wayne, PA, by looking at LandRover's certified pre-owned website. Apparently Bennet couldn't find that website. Perhaps because it showed retail values much higher than they were showing me at the dealership. More

We started our search for a replacement for one of our household vehicles yesterday, and our salesperson, Adrian, was good. He knew that we were just starting our search, allowed us to test drive a vehicl household vehicles yesterday, and our salesperson, Adrian, was good. He knew that we were just starting our search, allowed us to test drive a vehicle, and gave us information about product launches that might meet our needs. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicle of interest, tried to understand what we were looking for, and understood our time frame BEFORE pushing a sale. I don't know much about their service department or the rest of their sales staff/management, but we had a good experience with our salesperson. More
I agree with the other poster who mentioned the large drop in service quality with an increase in prices once moved to the new location. At the old location, we never had a problem, my corolla turned ov drop in service quality with an increase in prices once moved to the new location. At the old location, we never had a problem, my corolla turned over 20,000 miles just fine with not much work needed. After bringing it in for routine maintenance, problems started happening. Additional, unneeded services were done, such as "Customer said brakes seam soft" (they misspelled seem), and tacked on $100. My brakes were fine before and felt spongy and unresponsive after. Then the transmission was rattling wildly during colder temps, along with a belt squeal. Took it back in for service, $600 later everything seemed fine for about 3 weeks. Then they came back worse then ever before. The service, friendliness and quality has dropped at a frightening rate. I would never use this dealer again if my life depended on it. More
If you like the sterotypical sales experience, this is the dealership for you, but if you prefer a more sincere/laid back experience, shop else where. the dealership for you, but if you prefer a more sincere/laid back experience, shop else where. More
Since moving to their new dealership on Lehigh street in Allentown my Maintanence costs or suggested maintanence has increased 10 fold. I have been a long time customer of Bennetts, have always been happy w Allentown my Maintanence costs or suggested maintanence has increased 10 fold. I have been a long time customer of Bennetts, have always been happy with their service department and we own three Toyotas. The first service at the new location I was told my younger daughters car ( 2006 Rav4) needed brake fluid and transmission fluid changes. Then my other daughters car (2009 Corolla)went in for routine service,it needed brake fluid changed and the next time it needed a transmission fluid change. Just had mine in (2008 Rav4)for an Oil change and they told my wife the battery tested low and needed to be replaced. My daughter took her corolla in the very next day and Guess What ? She was told her battery tested low also and needed to be replaced, even though neither one of us had any problem starting our cars. I wonder how many brake fluid, transmission fluid and batteries they have sold since moving to the new location ? Seems like they are trying to pay for the new place and higher overhead costs by selling the customers services they don't need. They just lostat least three good Customers. More
I recently negotiated terms and pricing with Bennett Toyota for a new 2012 Toyota Sienna Limited. I found Sales Manager, Andy Stratz extremely friendly and accommodating to my requests, including a diligent search for a specific vehicle that was not readily in stock. Andy called me numerous times to assure my satisfaction in his pricing and vehicle selection. The newly constructed dealership on Lehigh Street, Allentown is a beautiful showroom with a friendly and helpful staff, including one of their sales team associates, Joe Colon. I'd highly recommend this dealership for the initial purchase as well as the follow up service and parts. More
