My experience started with Lorry Crohan via the internet "price quote" website. Lorry was very professional and answered all of my questions. In the end, Lorry was able to provide a price I could not pass up. The ball was then passed on to Kevin Gruver who handled all of my questions. Even though the car that I was interested in was not on the lot itself (it was at a car show), Kevin took my wife and I to the car show in a close equivalency vehicle (Toyota Avalon Hybrid Touring). On the way back, he also let me drive the vehicle back which was a nice 10-15 minute drive. After returning, Kevin was able to work with my rather unique circumstances. He said that their sales manager has probably heard all of the situations but mine was still a new one to him. In the end, I was able to conclude my deal with Bennett Toyota with the help of Kevin. He was never pushy in any way and considerate to my needs. Kevin also provided me with his mobile number and let me know to contact him if I had any questions (via text or calling). I did take him up on this offer and he did not hesitate to respond (he would always pickup on my first attempt in calling). He was always very responsive. So you're probably thinking to yourself that this may seem like all of the other reviews that are on this site. This is where the differentiating factors were noticed by me. Like you, I would think that most sales managers would have a very hands off approach once the sale is completed. I especially did not expect to see much of Kevin after being handed off to the finance officer and the keys being provided. Kevin did NOT abandon me after the sale was completed. Even after the keys were in my hand, he offered to show me the capabilities of the vehicle. He spent additional time that he was not obligated to in any way to ensure that I understood the car's functions inside and out. This unique experience did not end once I left the lot. I had absolutely no further expectations but Kevin called several times after I had brought the car home to see if there's any questions that he could answer and to ask about my car experience. Kevin e was genuinely interested in ensuring that I was truly happy with my new purchase and asked me to let him know if there's anything else that he could do in the future (near or distant). I highly recommend working with Bennett Toyota and more specifically, Lorry and Kevin for your future purchase. It's unlikely that my experience with Bennett Toyota will end here. While I'm not in the market for my next vehicle in the short term, they have certainly earned my trust and I would certainly consider working with them at top of my list for purchasing my next vehicle. Frustrating Experience Went to purchase used car and drove 2 hours to Bennett Toyota. Pre-negotiated deal price over phone so I just needed a test drive. Car was missing after-market navigation system contrary to web advertisement and salesperson description. I still wanted to purchase car but asked for some kind of discount due to missing nav. Sales manager not only denies that sales rep ever stated car had nav, but then goes on to say that I shouldn't have relied on web advertisement as they frequently contain errors. Great dealership...Misrepresent car, and when called out on it, blame the customer. Oh, then they said I should have scrolled through all of the pictures and looked at the one with the dashboard in it which should have told me the car had no nav system. Can't make this up if you tried!!! And let me add this. This deal busted yesterday morning, so the dealership knows about the misrepresentation on the website advertisement. Do you think they corrected the website to ensure no one else is misled? You guessed it...Still no correction and I'm not going to hold my breath. A reputable dealer would have changed the website immediately after the deal busted. I honestly don't know how these guys go home at night and look their family in the eyes knowing how they conducted themselves during the day. More

A few months ago I went to Bennett to see their cars and compare. I explained to Darrin that I just wanted to look around and he was very helpful. Darrin allowed me to test drive the new 2014 Toyota Corolla and I immediately fell in love with it. However, I explained to him my situation and as much as I was sold on the car I wanted to wait a few months. Darrin was very understanding and not pushy with trying to get me to purchase the car that day. He went the extra step to break down all the options I'd have for getting the car when I was ready. Fast forward a few months later, and Darrin stayed true to his word. I was able to drive away with that same Toyota Corolla I first test drove, and he got me a very good rate. I'm very happy with my new car and would recommend Darrin to anyone no matter the situation. He really can get you into a good car! More
