If there were a negative star option i would hit it numerous times!! To say that the treatment i received from this service department was disappointing would be an understatement. Here is the very shortened version of this god aweful experience. I dropped car off on May 21st for a scheduled service. Either a miss or a transmission issue. By days end on the 21st I have not heard a peep from anyone. On the 22nd i spoke with Desiree, she stated that your vehicle needs a "NEW TRANSMISSION". I ask how long this would take and she stated approval will be a few hours to several days. She is waiting for Land Rover to approve it. Another 2 days and ZERO communication Tuesday the 27th Desiree, we are going to get it on the lift today to do our evaluation. EVALUATION, i thought i needed a transmission? To find out ZERO had been even looked at. Wednesday 28th ZERO RESPONSE at 4:20 i phone them, no response. I called Land Rover directly for help, she confirmed there was no ticket for the service. She stated she will contact the dealership. As she was speaking with them, i get a text message from Desiree: Great news Land Rover got back to us. They have asked us to drain the trans fluid and refill it and see if there is an issue. Amazingly the response from Land Rover was from the 22nd. No one looked at the responses. It's now 7 days and they are changing trans fluid. I could have had that done at any shop across the country in 20 minutes. It took them 7 days to get to changing fluid. The promised me it would be in first thing on Thursday. Desiree and the Service Manager Promised an update to me by days end and AGAIN no phone call back. I texted, called and no response. Thursday the 29th I receive a call from the Service Manager. They will be completing the change of fluid today and i will get back to you. I stated i will pick the car up and take it to another dealership. Desiree and the Service Manager Promised it was being worked on and stated they would update me by days end and AGAIN no phone call back. I texted, called and no response Friday 30th - Again i text and call, even called the General Manager and as of 10:00 am no return phone call. Just got a text message from Desiree " Shortly the technician will be working on it and will have information later this morning" SO THEY DIDN"T EVEN WORK ON IT YESTERDAY LIKE EVERYONE TOLD ME? Desiree - The job on his lift took longer then expected and it delayed a handful of jobs. I am only one person. So 8 days and the vehicle still hasn't been touched. They have NO COURTESY VEHICLES, well at least for me, they have them booked for other people who needed them. Yes that's what Desiree stated to me. Wonder when the car on the lift came in, i guess that one was scheduled for others who needed service. More
I would not buy a car from this dealership period. The way they treated me for one year is simply unacceptable. I brought my jag in for check engine light and diagnostic check. Long story short, they said they fixed it for $4200 and I drove it home check engine light comes on along with restricted performance. Bring it right back so we can fix it.They already admitted wrong doing when they rembersed my credit card payment back. It's been over a year and they still haven't fixed their srew up and the car still sits there.I am 68 years old and still work hard for my money, I work 66 hours a week and have little time for their games. If any body noes a good lawyer I would love to sue them for what they are putting me through. I always call but now they never return them. I FIND IT HARD NOT TO HATE PEOPLE, BUT I HATE THESE PEOPLE. Phill Euston is the best Service Manager I have had the pleasure of working with. I’ve had high end luxury cars for 40+ years and no one was more caring and friendly than he is. I have never experienced a more stressful customer experience or incompetent “luxury”dealership in my entire life. I had a new car delivered and from day 1 the car had issues. My car was dead in t experience or incompetent “luxury”dealership in my entire life. I had a new car delivered and from day 1 the car had issues. My car was dead in the lot on day 1. Having to jump my brand new car every 2 days just so I could drive it. My brand new car’s battery kept dying after being parked for 1 hour, couldn’t lock my doors, car would turn off while driving, car going into limp mode, etc. I brought in the car on multiple occasions for the same issue and it couldn’t ever be fixed. I had to constantly call and follow up about progress. I was told lie after lie about technicians being brought in from over seas, etc. They had my car sitting without being serviced for months when I brought it in on May 5th, 2023. Even though after 30 days they should have informed me that the car was a lemon. I still continued to trust them. Huge mistake. Only to receive the service records that show they NEVER even worked on my car and lied about it. They just let it sit for months. I asked repeatedly to be let out of my lease and I was told by Jose & Desiree I have to “ask about that”. They had my car for 8 months and couldn’t fix it. I have been expected to pay for this vehicle I hadn’t been able to drive in 8 months. I was pressured into taking my car back after they claimed it was “fixed”. 2 days later the car died in a parking lot at a mountain while it was -13 outside and my children were with me. After that, the car went into limp mode on the highway and I couldn’t accelerate past 30 mph. While my 3 children were in the car. Again, upon receiving the service records showing they didn’t fix the car, it wasn’t even worked on. The lack of communication, lies, run around, empty promises, lack of professionalism, lack of accountability or care for their customers is HORRIFYING. And don’t expect anything different from Landrover Corporate. I was promised that a rental car would be covered by the dealership & corporate because of my horrific experience. I was assured by Jose & Dennis Kelly that if I took this unsafe car back that he would “take care of us”. I have yet to receive one call, text or email from anyone in Upper Management who can make this situation right. They handed me a bottle of red wine when I picked my car up and said we’d love to take care of you for your next purchase….. I’ve asked to be let out of my lease multiple times to no avail. Every single time I call no one who is in management is in the “building”. I went to pick up my rental that they “graciously” offered to pay for. And then didn’t. The rental receptionist told me that no credit card was left by Bennett and I would have to pay upfront for this rental. My credit card was charged $1400. The management staff will avoid you and constantly claim they are “unavailable”. I have just been informed that if I would like a vehicle to drive I must pay out of pocket until my repairs are done. On a car that is literally unable to be fixed. They had my car for 8 months last time. I’m expected to make lease payments & and pay out of pocket for a rental for the next 6 months?? The service records state the car is not fixable and is being slated for RECALL for the battery issue and while it was in their shop they didn’t put the windshield cover back on and water got into the electrical system and shorted the entire system. DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR HERE! It has been nothing short of an absolute nightmare!!!!!! The entire establishment shows a clear lack of leadership and any sort of accountability or ability to rectify scenarios for their customers. More
I have a 2016 Land Rover discovery sport hse luxury with a starting problem and I spent over 1200$ for parts from this dealership. This dealership told me they would schedule an appointment to fix the problem and a week later this dealership puts up a formal sign in their paying department saying they will no longer work on 2016 and older land rovers. I asked what am I to do now since most garages tell me Land Rover has the only tools to work on their cars., and Land Rovers answer to me was your problem. Unbelievable. I have a Land Rover im still paying on and dealership who sells these cars but won’t fix them. You couldn’t give me a car from this place, that’s how unsatisfied I am.👎 More
