First, I love my Jag so far and got a great deal given the KBB value and condition of the vehicle. Whom ever had the car before me took very good care of it! Amid the covid-19 pandemic, I had time to do my homework and hire a pre-purchase inspection company (Pomcar- they were outstanding) to inspect the vehicle before I purchased it. As a woman, already having this information beforehand was very empowering and advantageous. Some tend to take advantage of women and our lack of knowledge about certain things! I was also able to set up my own financing via Capital One Auto Navigator. The only thing left to do was view the car and sign on the dotted line if I liked it! The only reason I’m not giving 5 starts is because the prior owner’s personal info was still stored in the navigational system. That first and foremost should have definitely been cleared. I also would have liked to have some kind of demonstration and overview of all that the car offered and how certain things worked in addition to having my information and radio stations set as a courtesy. Upon initially contacting Bennett about the vehicle which only had a generic online picture, I found out they had closed due to Covid-19. However, Kristen Bennett went back to the dealership and took pictures of the vehicle and emailed them to me a few days later after receiving my inquiry. I was so appreciative of that because the generic online picture and description did the car absolutely no justice! Several employees at Bennett kept in contact with me during the closure and reached out to me as soon as they were authorized to reopen by appointment. The General Sales, Manager Greg Smith was a little off putting over the phone and via email but somewhat understandable as certain regulations and guidelines had to be followed. Safety and concern for himself and his employees I’m sure were top of mind during these uncertain and daunting times. Upon meeting Greg in person, he was actually a cool guy: very professional!! My inspector had arrived before I did and had already started inspecting the car. Based on his inspection reports and recommendations, I was able to negotiate a better price along with fixes on a few minor issues with the car. Greg even tried to find better financing and warranty options for me. I ended up sticking with my own though. I returned a few days later to pick up my car which was in pristine condition. The issues had been resolved and all I had to do was to complete my paperwork and make payment!! It really all was seamless. Deborah Pape, a sales specialist followed up with me several days later to make sure I was satisfied. The team has been readily available to answer any questions I have thus far. Very poor accountability 3/20/2020 I bought a used vehicle from them. 3 days after getting the vehicle it's sprung a transmission oil leak. I was told they would make some kind of decision and then let me know. Over a week went by and I heard nothing. Finally called them and was told if I bring the car in they will take a look at it, not stand by it or fix it but look at it! My wife and I are both senior citizens and are somewhat handicapped. We live approximately 2 1/2 hours from the dealership. My wife and I have a hard time traveling distances and I tried to explain that. I was told to take it to a reputable mechanic and get it fixed and then they would take care of it which I did. I had been told that the car had gone through their shop and been thoroughly inspected yet the mechanic told me that the leak was a common one and just does not happen overnight. Obviously it had been leaking for a while before I bought it! I was also told that the car had been detailed but on inspecting the back seats I found crumbs coffee spills drips on the back of the seats and dust about an inch thick! Nice detailing job. The transmission repair cost $200 and I sent copies of the receipts to them. That was over two weeks ago and they haven't even contacted me in any way to let me know but they are going to do. Then 2 days after that the check engine light Came on! Obviously I will have to look to getting that fixed but I'm not going to waste my time trying to be treated fairly. When you're on a fixed income every dollar counts! You make your buying decision from here on out More

Lazy and incompetent! My wife and i had purchased a vehicle from Bennett two years ago. We were interested in upgrading to a newer Range Rover and inquired online. We received a standard reply thanking us but got no further. We asked specific questions only to receive the same online response getting us no where. After three weeks, we finally and begrudgingly moved on to another dealership. By selling our current Rover early we had a balance on the gap insurance that had to be handled through Bennett. I called on May 7 and was directed to Moses, who was to handle this procedure. He was not in so i left a message with no response. I left subsequent messages on May 21, 28 eventually speaking to him on the 29th. He stated that my gap insurance would be completed and could take up to 45 days to process, mind you it has already been three weeks of trying to track Moses down. He stated that he would sent an email confirming that all was completed, no email. Called back on June 2nd and the 4th speaking to Toni and Steve, no progress. Only until i had sent an email to the 2nd in command did i get immediate results. So in short, their online staff by not responding to our interest in a new vehicle pushed us into the arms of their competitors. The lazy and incompetent (non)actions of Moses ensured that never again will we recommend Bennett and at the very least push potential customers in another direction. More

Service with a twist This dealership literally turned things around. I came in with a 17% interest rate on a used car. All I ask for is honesty when taking my time to attempt to purchase a vehicle. Apparently it takes too much time at Bennet to check on vehicles for potential customers! You're dealing with Bennet at your own risk. By the way same vehicle still on Carfax? More
Careless in doing paper work. I had purchased a certified DS with them, the sales person Shane Smith was helpful but the guy (Justin Goldman) who did my paper work was terrible. I had driven hours to get to the dealership to close the deal and least they could do is get my name right on the paperwork. I noticed the mistake and called them to correct it the following week but they never did and now the bank has my title with incorrect name on it. And also they sneak in extra charges such as GAP insurance as such without your notice. I had to call them multiple times to remove it. So be deal carefully! More
