Michael, I am sorry that we were not able to satisfy your needs. Unfortunately, all vehicles from all manufacturers are subject to surface rust on the undercarriage. Coastal states in the northeast are even more prone to this problem. As you know already, GM's position is that it is a cosmetic issue and poses no problems to the vehicle. Because you were unsatisfied with GM's position, we tried to help by sending the vehicle to a 3rd party body shop at your request to have the vehicle undercoated. This goodwill gesture resulted in you not being satisfied with the job because they failed to drop the spare tire and spray under the spare. At our expense, we sent it back and had that area remedied. Upon presenting the vehicle back to you, you are now dissatisfied with a 3 or 4-inch additional area you want to have sprayed. There is a saying "That no good deed goes unpunished". GM provides a 6 year, 100,000-mile rust through warranty and does not provide for or encourage undercoating their vehicles. We took on this project in an effort to satisfy a customer. It appears that our time and money spent is being rewarded by publicly slamming the same people that have tried to help you. I'm sorry that our efforts to please and satisfy your needs did not bring us to the results that we had expected, At this time we exhausted all efforts and will not continue to send the vehicle back and forth. We are confident that your vehicle will perform to the expectations that GM has intended and that your warranty will provide protection if needed in the future. Sincerely, Cecil Lam General Manager

Dear Dindito, I am so sorry to hear about your disappointment with our service department. I completely understand your frustration, we are overwhelmed. GM has never had the magnitude of recalls ad they are currently experiencing. We have always had one person answering the phone for service and now I have 6 and we still can't keep up. It is our policy not to turn away anyone in need of getting the recalls completed. Unfortunately a lot of the customers calling state that the closest GM dealers have a policy that they don't want to do any recalls, so customers we have never seen before our turning to us for help. We could stay open 24 hours a day for the next two months and we still will not catch up. I am not making excuses and it's my desire to make sure that you are completely satisfied. You or your wife are welcome to contact me directly and I will expedite getting your needs satisfied.
