Jnash, I am very sorry for your displeasure. However, there needs to be a little more context. Before we perform any service, we present you with a quote for the job. It is then up to you as the consumer to decide whether you want to get it done, or if you would like to take it elsewhere. When you were presented with the quote, you CHOSE to move forward. We are sorry that you are unhappy with that, but you were free to take it anywhere you liked to get it done cheaper. Dawn and Andrew, I am very sorry to hear about your experience. As you can see, this is not indicative of how our experiences go with our customers. I was personally the one that broke the glass on your car and I could not feel worse. I have been here for ten years and this was my first time damaging it so I cannot apologize enough. However, the error was done in haste, as we were all being talked down to and belittled when the only people here to help had nothing to do with the situation, and we were rushing to help you get your car so you could get to your meeting. I apologize once again for the damage but the service department was under the impression you were picking the car up in the morning that is why it was locked on the inside of the service shop. We lock it for the safety of the technician's tools and your car and the belongings. I apologize for the miscommunication but we were following our normal protocol. We 100% dropped the ball on the detail, that is something I will personally take responsibility for that. I gave instructions for them to detail it immediately after the new glass was installed, but I did not follow up so that one is also a personal failure. I also had already paid the service bill personally and the service department was aware of that, unfortunately, like the first incident all of this took place after 6 p.m. when the service department is not here and the receptionist was not aware of what I did. So I will apologize lastly for the miscommunication, I would never charge you at all considering the circumstances and that all has been taken care of. All I can do is apologize for the damage, and am very sorry for the inconvenience this has caused for you and your family. However, from the beginning we did own up to all of it and did our best to accommodate. We wish you luck in the future and hope that you have many safe miles.
