Dealing with Bennet Chevy was a breeze. The worst part about buying a new vehicle is the back and forth between the salesperson and the manager, haggling over the price, and next thing you know you've spe about buying a new vehicle is the back and forth between the salesperson and the manager, haggling over the price, and next thing you know you've spent the whole day at a car dealership. At Bennett, we felt that we were getting the best price right off the bat. We also felt very informed on the vehicle and our financial options put forth by our salesperson Durwood Pinkett. Great experience. More

I purchased a cargo van that was on a lot in New Hampshire. The transport of the vehicle by a third party was frustrating. I want to thank Jack for being patient with me. Everyone I dealt with at Hampshire. The transport of the vehicle by a third party was frustrating. I want to thank Jack for being patient with me. Everyone I dealt with at the dealership was friendly, courteous and helped to make a stressful situation bearable. I would use this dealer again and would encourage others to do so. More
For years since Duffy ford closed I could not find a dealership that I was happy to purchase a car. I have finally went to bennett and had the best experience I have had. Evan Taylor explained every d dealership that I was happy to purchase a car. I have finally went to bennett and had the best experience I have had. Evan Taylor explained every detail about the car and was able to answer all my questions. He is very knowledgeable about all the cars and helped with the paperwork. There was no pressure to purchase the car or to rush me like other places had tried to do. I will now buy all my car for my family at Bennett. I will also send my family and friends to o. I know they care about people the commission that other car companies do. I would like to thank Evan and Bennett for the caring that they have towards people. More
I do not like going to the dentist, but we have too at least twice a year! Buying a vehicle from a dealership carries the same stress as going to a dentist. I needed a new truck, I started on line and end least twice a year! Buying a vehicle from a dealership carries the same stress as going to a dentist. I needed a new truck, I started on line and ended up at Bennett Chevrolet, because of Jim Bryant. I spoke with Jim on the phone first, he had a very relaxed tone in his voice and no urgency to sell. After meeting Jim at the dealership, I was at ease, and JIM DID NOT TRY TO SELL ME SOMETHING THAT I DID NOT WANT! He was truly interested in what I wanted, and not what he could sell. The casual nature of how the deal progressed was the best experience I ever had. I got the truck I wanted and the price was great. I would send my family members to Bennett Chevrolet and in the hands of Mr. JIM BRYANT, knowing that they would be well cared for. I wish a Dentist visit would be as good! More
Was "lured in" by their "$6000" cash for clunkers program. We were interested in a vehicle they had on the lot. We have a clunker and a 2013 trade to go with it. They have a "value yo for clunkers program. We were interested in a vehicle they had on the lot. We have a clunker and a 2013 trade to go with it. They have a "value your trade" icon on the internet. So we fill out the info and expect a value to come back. Only to be told that we need to bring the vehicle in to be appraised. Why say you can do it online if we have to bring it in? We're an hour drive away. So we called Bennett and Glen answered. We told him it makes no sense to say you can appraise a car online only to be told to come in. We specifically told him we had a clunker trade and a fair market value trade. Two cars. He takes down all the info about the 2013 and said he'd call back within two hours. He calls back and says $30,000 for the 2013. We told him to put it in his notes and that we'd come in soon. We come in to be told that Glen went home due to an illness. We're now dealing with Jack. Jack pulls up Glen's notes, which mentions nothing of the $30,000 he quoted us plus that we mentioned we had a clunker trade too. So Jack has a manager look at the vehicle and quotes us at $24,000. The manager at the time, Mark, told us that if Glen quoted us $30,000, that is what we would get. Of course, no one could get ahold of Glen to confirm. Bennett has two prices for their vehicles on their website. The black price is typically $3,000 higher than the red "internet price". Guess which price you're paying if you have a clunker? Ok so your clunker is worth "$3,000". Jack told us Glen didn't know we had a $6,000 clunker so he quoted us $30,000 on our 2013 trade. They inflate your trade if you don't have a clunker. So at that point it really didn't matter if we had a clunker or not. We walked out at that point. We decided to come in another day and talk to someone else to fumble the numbers with. This time it's Tony R. He wrote down the condition of the vehicle. Like new. No dents, scratches, stains. So he prints out two appraisals from different websites. One was Edmunds and the other was some other no name hack website nobody's every heard of. Probably some dealer friendly site. All the while I get on my iPhone to Edmunds.com which pulls a real set of numbers. On "their" Edmunds we could tell they itemized our car to be a total xxxxx. High mileage, and average condition which took off about $3,000. They only print out the final page so you can't see exactly which options they stripped. I asked :why the average condition?" He said "oh that just goes in with the high mileage." xx! They devalued our car from $30,000 to $18,500! They said "oh we didn't realize it wasn't 4 wheel drive. How do you NOT know?? We gave them the dang VIN! I agree with another reviewer, they promise one thing, then waffle around and backtrack on it later. They constantly go back in the managers office and "discuss" things. It's a huge powwow that you're not allowed to partake. You know you're being screwed some way or another. The internet price for the vehicle we wants is $31,000 and the full price is $34,900. WITHOUT our clunker as trade, he printed out our invoice with the vehicle being the full $35k. I told him the internet price was $31k. Tony R. said, oh that just what the manager said, $35k. So they denied the price that they HAD IN WRITING. Again, that's NOT including the clunker. Yes we have negative equity in our 2013 vehicle, but in the end they wanted $40,000 for a $31,000 SUV. Do not get scammed by these people. Do your homework first, because they've done theirs. More
