From start of his introduction Steve came to us with such warm and understanding of our situation being a family man himself and knew what we were looking for. He took his time to explain the vehicles and took into consideration what we needed and the price range we were in. My Fiancee and I live in New York, we have searched other Chevy dealerships and were very unsatisfied with the customer service, rude atmosphere and rush to just get you to purchase so they can make their commission. We have a summer house in NJ and after breakfast we passed Bennett and of course my Fiancee had to stop in because he saw the truck he wants in the front lot. It was not a regrettable experience at all. I am so glad we stopped and had Steve approach us. He made this entire experience so smooth for us it sure is better in NJ than the cliche of "RUDE NEW YORKERS" and having my pregnant fiancee sit in a dealership with ease was a easy task for Steve to handle. lol We are truly amazed from our experience we will recommend our family and friends and have become Bennett believers. WAITED WAY TOO LONG FOR A CASH DEAL!!! Cash deal for a 2014 Silverado for my son. He took it for a ride, and price was negotiated within 1/2 hour. The salesman was new and had to keep asking for help. He kept walking to an office for help, so we walked to that office and said, lets make the deal here instead of walking back to sales desk all the time. Then he printed the wrong names on one form that we needed for our deal.3.5 hours later we were still waiting for the financial office to close the deal. CASH DEAL. What took so long? My thought is this: A new salesman should be shadowed by a seasoned salesman to speed things up and train the new employee. That would have save a lot of time, effort and bad customer feelings. The general manager saw me standing outside his office waiting impatiently for the financial employee. But did he do anything to help us? Like apologizing, give us a soda, or maybe that extra key we asked for/ NO !! He just sat there and was didn't care. I don't blame the new salesman, I blame the gen manager for not training him properly and not having him backed up by someone at his side until he was confident and capable. Sorry for blasting you, but this is not the way business should be run!!! More
