We didn't stay to watch what was being done so we hope they did all the things they were supposed to do for a 30,000 mile checkup. They had a car drive us home and back. Great service. This is the second time I had my car in for service related to clutch and transmission. Completely quoted me wrong prices. Expected $4000 bill, it was over $7000. Took it in May 17th, got it back July related to clutch and transmission. Completely quoted me wrong prices. Expected $4000 bill, it was over $7000. Took it in May 17th, got it back July 26. Complete lack of communication and information. I will NEVER bring any of my 3 Fords back to Bellingham Ford. Unprofessional and don't know anything about customer service. More

I had a warranty claim and the dealership wanted to mark up the rim $600+ over what they normally sell it for on top of what Ford was already paying. I spoke to Julian Carrera and Julian Greening both insis up the rim $600+ over what they normally sell it for on top of what Ford was already paying. I spoke to Julian Carrera and Julian Greening both insisted Ford was making them overcharge me. Many Ford reps stated this is what we sell a dealership this part for, $1032. We have no control over what they charge you. This is the second factory rim I've had split through the weld. Last time at the same dealership there was no charge. Now they wanted almost $1800. and can't explain the price increase other than to try to blame Ford. Stay away from this dealership. More

5 days to fix a tire, the pressure tire warming light remained on, we were told the warning would go away after we simply drove it for a bit. It took 2 hours for an oil change. (About an hour for them to even drive the car back). And that was with an appointment (and knowing I was waiting for it). Rarely do I take the time to write a review, but the customer service from Charlie Silva at Bellingham Ford was the best I’ve experienced in my 25 years as a Ford customer. Right off the bat, he was fr customer service from Charlie Silva at Bellingham Ford was the best I’ve experienced in my 25 years as a Ford customer. Right off the bat, he was friendly and pleasant. A pleasure to talk with, rather than most other Ford service department people who greet you, but give off an impression of “ho hum”. I explained the issue with our car, that it was a 2019 EcoSport with 19,000 miles and it was leaking fluid from the engine. Lots of fluid. Each day it left a 12” circle under the car. Charlie took a genuine interest and assured me that they would get to the bottom of it. I also explained that we needed a loaner car because public transit doesn’t reach our work location and we couldn’t miss work. Additionally, there was a shortage of rental cars in Bellingham. So, we were stuck. A car engine that leaked fluid and no alternate transportation to get to work. At first, there were no loaners available, but Charlie assured me he was determined to find a way to help. I really appreciated that because this was a very concerning situation. Over the years of owning various Fords, service department people usually treat you like just another number; get you in and get you out. Charlie is a sincere, friendly, and respectful person who was a true pleasure to work with, despite my Ford-quality concerns about our engine leaking. Never have I had a Ford do this, and I’ve owned Expeditions, Explorers, Escapes, and now an EcoSport. Charlie worked with the mechanic, Ryan, to help explain to me precisely what was going on. They were both great, with a clear and knowledgeable explanation of the issue, and what would be done to fix it. Charlie worked on a solution for a loaner, which took a few days, but he made it happen (which I really appreciate!). He followed up with various phone calls to keep me updated, and a call afterwards to let me know how everything worked out. Over a number of days, his communication and follow-up skills were excellent. Other Ford service departments should take a lesson from him in overall genuine service. He sets a great example of customer service and Bellingham Ford is lucky to have him representing their brand! More
