The service I received at Bellingham Ford was out stranding as usual! As a return customer from Juneau Alaska, where we have NO FORD DEALER, I was required to transport my 2020 F350 to Bellingham to stranding as usual! As a return customer from Juneau Alaska, where we have NO FORD DEALER, I was required to transport my 2020 F350 to Bellingham to have an on going emission problem corrected. This was accomplished by the Service Department in an exemplary performance by the technician Cole assigned to this serious diesel problem in concert with David Carrera the Service Coordinator. This on going problem had been assigned a increased case# problem level by the Ford Problem Center (M Krupa) due to the impact on the operation of my F350 which facilitated the use of consultation with other Ford Technicians. The result was a successfully completed repair to a complex problem. More
Kyle in the Services Department checked in my truck on arrival. He kept me advised of events and status while my car was serviced. The problem had a counterintuitive root cause and required a few tests, but the mechanics persisted. They found and confirmed the problem, then Kyle obtained my permission to proceed. In the end, my truck was working properly once again. Along the way, the team updated the software in a transmission control computer (after getting my permission) and updated the GPS navigation database (at my request). I am very pleased with the result. More

I brought my 1995Ford Truck in for a check on a couple issues that recently concerned me and it was a choice to use Bellingham Ford as I have had this vehicle serviced at this location several times ov issues that recently concerned me and it was a choice to use Bellingham Ford as I have had this vehicle serviced at this location several times over the course of 15+ yrs. It was a preventative approach in an effort to avoid a potential serious engine failure. During the drop off / check-in process, I explained to the advisor that there was a water pump seal issue that I wanted diagnosed. I pointed out a visible issue with the intake hoses prior to handing over the keys etc. They have an authorization form that requires a signature, on that form is a area to note a request for limitations prior to work performed. It was very busy, I was not aware of that and it was not pointed out prior to me leaving the dealership. The Advisor did not confirm to me that it was blank and should be filled in by me once I signed. Subsequently, I was charged 2 hours ($350 +tax) diagnostic services. The invoice did not offer specific details on some of the requested inspection. This is a 28 year old and relatively easy to access the components that were mentioned in contrast to 2023 and newer models. Based on the Technicians evaluation, a 2 hour service charge is excessive. I contacted the Service Manager regarding the charge and he responded that the charges were" Fair and Justified". I have owned this vehicle for 20 years and have complete understanding of the labor times for most basic repairs as a result of prior long term maintenance. This charge was extreme, simply stated. I can No longer recommend this dealership. I More
Called to ask about a vehicle because no one else answered, he answered and was promptly rude telling us “I have no idea what you are talking about”. This is unnecessary, and we didn’t provoke this i answered, he answered and was promptly rude telling us “I have no idea what you are talking about”. This is unnecessary, and we didn’t provoke this in any way. Better customer service skills over the phone would help him in his career. I’ll be sure to mention this in person as well. More
Well done- polite and professional. Took a tad longer than expected, but everyone and everything went well. Took a tad longer than expected, but everyone and everything went well. More
