I was on my way south to look for a new car because I didn't think a dealership in Bellingham would give me a good deal. Well, I was wrong! Diehl Ford was where I stopped, stayed, and bought! Made me feel comfortable as a single woman dealing for a new car. Dealt the way I wanted in whole dollar amounts and even gave me the amount I wanted for my trade in! The process was long but WELL worth it! The guys made me feel comfortable hanging out with them as I waited. Great deal on my new "bucket list" dream car, a 2014 Ford ruby red Mustang!! They had to locate one in my color and price range and they did it! I have been a teacher for 26 years and I'm a cancer survivor. I was 15 years old when I had Hodgkin's disease and have suffered many medical issues due to the deeply done radiation. I never thought I'd even have a chance to own my dream car and now I have it!! I was greeted warmly and respectfully. The car I was interested in (and earlier examined on the website) was in the showroom. Upon return, I was again treated with a great deal of respect and consideration as the financing process was completed. All-in-all, I was able to leave the dealership in a new car with all details completed and ready. Jack Barton is personable and friendly, and he made me feel as if I were important and needed. Emil Vinberg is profoundly professional and thorough, and he got me the very best financing I could have hoped for. Diehl Ford has a customer for life in me! More
My wife and I wanted to buy a hybrid Ford Fusion after reading reviews in Consumer Reports magazine. We contacted Tom Welmers at Diehl Ford and shred with him the options we were looking for. At the time, they did not have a vehicle in their inventory that had the options we wanted. A few days later, I received a text message from Tom indicating the dealership had just gotten in a vehicle that he though would meet our requests. My wife and I went to the dealership after work and took a test drive of the vehicle and were very impressed. Tom was very helpful in answering our questions and pointing out features of the car. We were not that familiar with the hybrid technology so he did a great job of helping us understand it. When we finally agreed to purchase this car, it was nearly closing time for the dealership. Tom and Emil stayed and completed all the necessary paperwork. Mike Diehl himself came and spent time chatting with us while the paperwork was being completed. They stayed with us after hours to complete the transaction. We got a fair price for our trade in, a fair price for the new car, and Emil was successful in getting us great financing. In summary, we were very pleased with the whole experience. We got a beautiful vehicle and the Diehl Ford sales team made us feel very special. More
My experience was rated "great" based on Chris Bonesteele in sales and Ed Turrell in service. Recently I purchased two new Fords with the sales being a number of months apart. For me these are major purchases and I expect the sales person to be knowledgable about the product down to the smallest detail. I also expect the sales person to listen to me so I get the product I want rather than one they want to move. Chris delievered on both counts. His knowledge of the product and concern for my search was warm, friendly and accurate. I would buy again from Chris. Ed Turrell demonstrated a concern for the customer by working with me on a problem that could not easily be reproduced on demand. I never once felt that he would say behind my back, it is just their imagination. He took time to research the problem and went up and beyond the call of duty to get the car to me on time. His type of service made a big impression on me. More
We just wanted a dependable clean car at a reasonable price for our daughter to drive to college... John Quimby was a real nice man and easy to deal with. Ed, was also easy and friendly. Ever one else did not even look me in the eye when I walked by them, some were so sullen I thought I was doing someth Ed, was also easy and friendly. I was in a rush to get the process over, due to the long drive back home. It took 1 hour and 25 minutes to do about 15 minutes of paper work. Don't know who handles that, not John, he tried his best to move the deal fast, but it just went slow. The price was ok, but no great deal, the Ranger had been there for about 2 months, had not sold, probably because it was not a 4 door truck, most people who want a Ranger want all doors to open. Not that big of deal to me. The Ranger was in great condition, but again it was still priced to high for a 2 door rig and a truck that is no longer made by Ford. I have owned 7 Ford Rangers now. I know their value better then any car dealer. I would never get that price if I was selling it, but I like silver trucks and was happy with the low miles. More

It was the most pleasant car purchase we have ever experienced. Charley had been in communication with us for several weeks. He knew what we wanted. We happened to come in on his day off, but he came in to help us anyway. He couldn't have been more helpful and without any pressure at all. As we were from out of the area, several sales people came over to meet us and see if they could be of any assistance to the "new people in town." We were fortunate to meet the owner and his son, the Diehl's. Everyone was warm and friendly. The gentleman in charge of finance was equally pleasant and has offered to assist me in finding employment in the nursing field when we are spending more time in the area. The experience could not have been more pleasant. Charley has been in touch with us several times since the purchase and we will not hesitate to return to Diehl Ford Lincoln for our next car purchase, be it for our Washington home or California home.
