My entire experience was very positive. It started when I told Randy I was looking for a used pickup and I gave him my parameters. He called me up later and told me he had something I might like. Through the whole process they both were very friendly and professional. I did not have to play games with them. Everything was as they said it was and they did not hold back information from me about the used vehicle I was looking at. Emil in finance also made the process quick and easy. Once we made the deal they still took care of me after the sale. I wish the price of the vehicle would have been less, but on the other hand, they gave me more for my trade in vehicle than I thought it was worth. I don't want to make them sound like they were perfect, but they did do a great job taking care of me and I can recommend them without reservation. More
My husband and I arrived at DIEHL dealership after a long day going through dealerships from Oak Harbor on through to Bellingham. It was a cold, rainy, dark night by the time we drove onto the DIEHL lot and we were tried and ready to just go home. I did not want to walk through the lot in the rain anymore looking at all the cars as we did all day. But I must say the appearance and atmosphere of the dealership as we drove onto the lot up lifted me. As we got out of our car into the rain out walked John Quimby with a warm smile and hello. When I told John that I really did not want to walk through the rain anymore today and maybe he could just point us to a couple of cars he asked me; what are all the things you want in a car and what are your deal breakers. After talking for a few minutes he lead us to a couple of cars he thought we would like. Within 10 minutes we were on a test drive in what would be our car; a Ford Flex, fully loaded. When I asked "when do you guys close, John said when we are done", I was very impressed with that attitude. Then we were dealing with Gary Caplin who gave us a great deal on our new car and paid us top dollar for our trade in. Now we are given to the finance manager Emil Vinberg who lead me through all the paperwork explaining the extended warranty to us and the cost of things as well as working with my credit union to closed the deal. All the people we worked with on that night were friendly, warm, caring professionals. They really cared about my husband and I on the dark, rainy, cold night. I just wish we had gotten to DIEHL Ford in the morning and saved ourselves all the hassles. Thank you guys at DIEHL and God Bless More
This was an absolutely fabulous transaction! All the different people we worked with were extremely patient, informative and helpful! They took a lot of time and went to great lengths to make sure I got what I wanted and that they helped me get the best price possible. In fact, they said they would get the best deal for me based on an estimated interest rate provided by my bank. When it turned out that no one came close to that amount and my own bank raised the interest rate, then Emil worked very hard to beat that original rate - which he did! I would definitely recommend Charley and the rest of the staff at Diehl Ford in Bellingham, WA if anyone is looking to purchase a great vehicle at a great price! The owner - Mike Diehl - even came out and talked with me about the local community theatre I volunteer at while I was waiting for all my paperwork to go through! I had a pretty good idea of what type of car that I was interesting in buying when I visited the dealership. I saw a Focus on display and met Chris Bonesteele at that time. Chris was very helpful answerin interesting in buying when I visited the dealership. I saw a Focus on display and met Chris Bonesteele at that time. Chris was very helpful answering my initial questions. I left dealership as I was not going to buy a vehicle for a month or two and took the time to go online to ford.com and build my Focus and got an idea of pricing for it. I emailed my build pdf to Chris and soon found out that I qualified for 0% interest and zero down. That knowledge allowed me to accelerate my purchase decision. I had also filled out on online request for a Focus brochure with Ford.com and received a Private cash coupon for $500 from Ford to use against a purchase of a Focus. Diehl placed my order in late August and Chris estimated about 8 weeks for delivery. I also met Emil for the first time and went over some options and then had some time to think about the extended warranty while I waited for delivery. I had numerous email exchanges with Chris during this time which included updates on delivery schedule, GAP insurance pricing and tinting options. I appreciated the info Chris provided. Delivery was just under 8 weeks ahead of schedule and I was delighted. Diehl sent my Focus out for tinting at a local shop (who did a very professional tinting job, very impressed with the work done), then Diehl took care of the Xzilon application in-house at their shop, detailed the car out and filled the tank with gas. I met with Emil on time for our appointment and we carefullywent through my options for financing and for other options. Emil was able to show me that the 0% was not asfinancially beneficial to me as going with 1.59% loan and $2000 cashback. This saved me over $900. In the end, I stayed within my budget and took delivery of a fabulous American made automobile that I am thrilled with and I happy that I was able to buy Ford. Do your homework and research, take advantage of the online sites (ford.com and diehlford.com) ask(email) your questions and work with the fine people at Diehl Ford and you too can come away satisfied.
