Our ABS warning lights came on. After determining the work had to be done at the dealership we made an appointment. It took eight days to get the appointment which was for 8:00 am. We called the previous night to see how long it would take and if I could wait on it. I was told I could wait on it for the two hours it might take to determine the problem. We chose to leave it but stayed by the phone waiting for the diagnosis. I gave up at 11:15 and called but the service advisor was at lunch. At 1:15 I still had heard nothing and called again. The car had not been looked at. Around 3:25 I gave up, called again, and was told she might be a lunch. After I told them she had already used that excuse she came to the phone and said they were just putting it on the machine. Just before 5:00 I gave up and called again. She said she would check on it and this time she did call back. She said the part was in Charlotte and would cost around $800 and be there Monday. We asked if they gave AAA discounts but she said no but if we were over 55, we would get a 10% discount if we asked for it at checkout. On Monday we called several times throughout the day with no real answer. Late on Monday we were told that the part was no good but the replacement had been ordered and our car would be fixed first thing Tuesday. At noon it was finally fixed, 12 days after we called for an appointment. When we went to pick it up, I asked for the promised discount and was told it was only valid on Thursdays. Even when I told the cashier who had made the promise, she merely repeated the same information. If they treat a long term customer like this, there is no advantage to be one More
