I was greeted at the door and advised them what I was looking for. They bent over backwards to try and accomodate my requirements. I was given many alternatives to choose from. Once I decided, the paperwork process was pretty painless and even when I returned a few days later with a complaint about the noise level of the vehicle they replaced my roof rails with a different style which fixed the noise problem all on the same day. It was overall the best car buying experience I have ever had. More
Albert and Don went above and beyond the call of duty to get me the car I wanted, which was a 2011 Mitsubishi Evolution. They were responsive to my questions about the car and the terms. My name is Celia Afonso. I've been searching for a 2011 Lancer.I went into Bell Mitsubishi just to browse. I wanted to purchase a new vehicle, but was not really ready to buy. I hate dealerships because yo Lancer.I went into Bell Mitsubishi just to browse. I wanted to purchase a new vehicle, but was not really ready to buy. I hate dealerships because you always get crowded by salespeople and pushed into the sale. This was not the case. Don Paterno approached me to offer his help. He stayed back to let me browse my myself, but at the same time was there in case I needed his help. He was very informative, and was able to answer my questions. When I asked for the pricing, out of curiosity, he shocked me!!! We went inside and he wrote up a quote that I could not refuse!!! Bell Mitsubishi beat any previous dealership pricing I had inquired before. Don was very friendly and told me the truth, which most salespeople don't. The whole atmosphere at Bell was amazing. They make you feel comfortable and relaxed. Let's just say that, we made a deal the same day!! And even most amazingly, 2 days after I brought my new car home, Don Paterno called to make sure that I was pleased with it. I honestly have never had such quick, friendly customer service at any dealership. Me and my family have been going to the same dealership, which will remain nameless, for almost 10 years now, and have never gotten this type of service. Thank you Bell Mitsubishi and Don Paterno for allowing me to purchase my new 2011 Lancer ES with such a breeze!!! We have been leasing cars for the past 12 years. The Bell Mitsubishi dealership, by far, has provided the best overall customer experience. Their professionalism was second to none, but what resonated, the most with us, was their actual genuine nature in trying to get us to where we needed to be, financially. You just would never expect to use the word "genuine" to describe a car "dealership" but that is exactly what they were. There were no gimmicks, just hard numbers and them going out of there way to see which deal would suit us best economically. I NEVER write reviews, but had to make an exception for the dealership that followed up, catered to us, did not push, did not rush, was knowledgeable, cared, and most importantly, offered to run over to get us lunch because we mentioned we were hungry :) Although we did not take them up on that, it was all those little things that count, go a long way, and differentiated them, again by far, over their competitors in ther tri-state area. It's very hard to exceed expectation of the customer and to keep up with such strongs word, but somehow Bell Mitsubishi managed to do it. I've been doing the research for the car I want for over 6 months. I've read some articles, some reviews, people experiences, forums, youtube and etc. When I finally decided that Mitsu is the way to go I went to few dealership in Tri-State area and emailed some of them who's outside. My final stop was Bell Mitsubishi. First of all, let's start with Matt. Young, very friendly, very honest, very human. Yes, human. He's not a shark sales guy, who wants to rip you off. He's there to help. He listens, he talks, he understands. Jose is a manager. His job to sell you car for the price you want, but also to make money. Don't expect him to drop 10k on the new car, and then complain. Be realistic. He is flexible but don't go over the top. Tell him your budget and he will work with you. Now, most important detail. At the end, when you go to sign the papers with Neil (also, very nice guy), there will be no hidden fees. You will get exact the same price you were promised. No accidental "your credit score sucks", or "I'm sorry, I didn't know you want black color, please pay extra". No nonsense, Nothing! No surprises! Matt showed you car, got an idea what you want. Jose invited you to negotiate the price and Neil will explain your financing, warranty, and extras. Then you leave, Matt shows you everything about the car, shakes your hand and wish you good luck. And yes, he calls next day just to check, if you like it. WoW! For last 10 years I went to a lot of dealerships. I hate, and trust me, I really hate to shop for a car. I would love to drive one car for 20 years in order to avoid car shopping, sales people, dealers and such. But somehow these guys showed me that buying car is not such a hassle. We currently have a 98 Mitsubishi Galant and was looking to get a second car. My parents and I definitely wanted a Mitsubishi SUV. Before visiting the dealership, I had done my research over the internet. to get a second car. My parents and I definitely wanted a Mitsubishi SUV. Before visiting the dealership, I had done my research over the internet. This dealership in comparison to the others seemed to have a more personal touch. The owner actually visits the place 5 to 6 days a week. The engines of the cars they sell come with a lifetime warranty. The descriptions of their cars posted on the internet were very detailed. Descriptions from other dealerships were "You will love this car!" "This car is the perfect summer ride" Then their descriptions were very basic; just the essential information. Bell Mitsubishi gave the information you wanted to hear, and even beyond that. I purposely didn't make an appointment to come in, so they wouldn't try to have a whole "sales pitch" planned. We bought our first car from a local dealership, and it was the typical experience. He didn't suck, he just wasn't extraordinary. We visit Bell Mitsubishi right after I got out of work. Working in retail for the past 10 years, I knew all of the typical "tricks, consumer traps, etc." At the same time, I also know the value of the car itself, as well as its added features. My father, working for a bus company, is very good at inspecting for any cosmetic defects. He is also very knowledgable of the internal parts of the car. My mom, I guess is the test of the dealer's patience because of her personality. As we were looking at the Mitsubishi Outlander I saw on NJ.com, Mr. Don Paterno approached us a few minutes later. He was very welcoming and answered any questions we had. There wasn't that extra sleezy dealership talk I was expecting. He ended up showing us a better car than what we were expecting to buy. I was thinking, "There it goes. The upsell." Comparing the 2 cars, the second car really was a value. Even though my mom was practically sold, Mr. Paterno still took the time to make sure we ALL loved the car. He addressed the concerns of my dad and I, as well as was extremely patient with my mom. He was a very funny, light hearted guy. He relieved any tension we had of the car buying experience. It kinda felt like buying a car from your favorite uncle. We went on an actual road test; not just around a couple of blocks. He wasn't just focused on my dad driving the SUV, but talked to me and my mom too. Even though we were all convinced, he still made sure he covered all our concerns. The buying process that followed was as enjoyable as the sales experience. I loved how Mr. Paterno asked my parents how much of a monthly payment they wanted. He asked what we wanted, and he did everything in his power to make it happen. At the business office, we met Neil. Neil made the paperwork part not so boring. It was more than just sign here, sign there. It was again, like visiting your favorite uncle. He talked to us about where we worked, how we found the dealership, etc. He too, was more than willing, and patient with any questions or concerns. By the time the paperwork was done, the car got cleaned and gased up; ready for us to take it. Even though we already had the keys, it was as if he was still trying to sell the car to us. It wasn't like, "Here are your keys. See you later." Mr. Paterno made himself totally available to us if we had any concerns in the future. He even gave us his cell phone number. Honestly, if I could, I would have rated everything a "10". There was not a single thing I could complain about. The dealership seemed so cozy and everyone seemed very nice and welcoming. I kinda wish we bought our first car from them as well. I was shocked to find out that everything I read on the internet about them was exactly the same thing in person. Their policy is kinda like Burger King, "Have it your way." It's all about the customer, not the dealer. More
