Buying a used car was never meant to be fun, but my salesperson at Bell Honda, Darin Johnson was great. Darin was patient and thoughtful to both me and my wife, who was distracted by my 3 year old son salesperson at Bell Honda, Darin Johnson was great. Darin was patient and thoughtful to both me and my wife, who was distracted by my 3 year old son, when we purchased a our "new" Honda Certified used car from him. The car was actually as good as new but with a much better price and get this a much better warranty. We had fun buying a used car and the sales manager Scott and the finance guy Roman both did wonderful jobs in making sure that all our questions were answereed and that we were comfortable with the answers. They actually are not scared of saying that they did not know the answer and went to go find the answer and come back to us with the informaiton we requested. We have continued to do business with Bell HOnda and have had the car serviced and met Adrian onthe service drive who was on top of his job. We have now owned our used Honda for nearly 4 months and even with this horrible economy, we are dreaming of a new car in the next couple of years. Bell Honda and Darin Johnson can count on us as happy loyal customers. More

Well, my family owns more than 4 Honda's at present, all purchased at Bell Honda. Having said that, I am convinced that I would rather go to Scottsdale Honda to purchase my next Honda than at Bell. Your car sales department needs surgical intervention. I found no respect whatsoever in that show room although I have bought 9 cars during the past 10 years from Bell. The frequent changes in personnel make it hard for a faithful customer like me to do business anymore with Bell Honda as there does not seem to have a system to check history of a faithful customer. They do not seem to get it. At many a time I have tried to find your General Manager but always I get a lame excuse that he is at a meeting. Which meeting is more important for a good manager - one about office administration/revenue or with a potential (in my case, a faithful) customer? It seems to me that the GM operates from "an undisclosed location". Who is he hiding from - the customer? Recently I found it is hard to believe that Bell Honda Sales believes that the customer must come first. On another note: I regularly get calls from Bell Honda around dinner time and have requested each caller to remove my name and the phone number from their list. I do not need an introduction to Bell Honda. They do not seem to have any other desire but to bulldoze the customer with what they have to say. They do not wish to "listen". In people oriented business such as yours, that kind of attitude is a disaster, don’t you think? It seems to me that the used car sales department has a new manager who has come from the North. He seems to be energetic but lacks knowledge of the culture and the mindset of people of the Southwest. I am sure he will learn soon. His team has no idea what a smile can do when a customer walks in. Send someone in on your place and you will notice what I am talking about. The service department, on the other hand, is a very well run enterprise. From the simple lot attendant (most of them though) to the Director. I found it easy to talk to people who are in-charge there, including the master-mechanics. I have also told the managers that Bell Honda Service must re-evaluate their pricing (both parts and service) as there are many local garages who will execute the same repair job for less using original Honda parts with a guarantee for their work. But what keeps me coming to your service department is the friendliness of some of the advisors and the trust I have in the managers - Mr. Tom Fennen and Mr. Jim Cole. Among the advisors, I am glad to see some of the old hands have been asked to leave as they did not do justice to the post they were called upon to serve. This includes some of the shuttle drivers. They did not seem to recognize that they are "BELL HONDA" in the presence of a customer. I must commend Mr. Fennen for a fabulous job he is doing in creating a positive attitude in each members of his team as well as his stern desire for a well-run administration with an attitude to witness complete satisfaction in each customer. He values everyone that walks into his department. I like that. Respectfully, Lal Fernando p.s. I have included my email address in the log-in. Please DO NOT send any information on car sales to me. My experience with Bell Honda was very positive. The sales staff was very polite and helpful. I was taken care of from the moment I walked into the building until I left with my car. They helped me find sales staff was very polite and helpful. I was taken care of from the moment I walked into the building until I left with my car. They helped me find the car I was looking for in my price range. They explained the features of the car which was helpful in making my decision. I felt no pressure to buy and was able to make a decision without any hassle. I will purchase another car from Bell Honda in the future. More

Went to dealership looking at used, gave them my budget they tried to sell me a car 5 grand over saying "it will work, it will work" They put me through xxxx going to different sales people over and over a they tried to sell me a car 5 grand over saying "it will work, it will work" They put me through xxxx going to different sales people over and over after i said NO DEAL. They kept calling over the next couple days to sell me this way too expensive car saying if i come down they will work something out, i told them no FINALLY they gave up. A few days after that they called and said they were having a tent event i figured what the xxxx and i went, i found a nice used honda accord, great car! there were no floor mats in it and i asked if they would put some in, of course not, at tent sales it's "as is" so i sucked it up and moved on. i still ended up with the car but since it was the end of the night they left me with all the writing on the windows still saying i'm buying it "as is" but the salesman said he would make an exception and call me the following day to schedule a detail job to be done to the car. i called twice left messages the next day and NOTHING no one bothered to call me back. I felt great about my car the night i bought it, now 3 days later i feel cheated and duped. I hope someone comes along and straightens them out. The final thing that made me very angry was when i pulled up the carfax report, the report the dealer made before i bought it says they did safety inspections, detailed the car, changed the oil and INSTALLED FLOOR MATS...well i called after i saw that and they said someone probably stole them, that's what happens at tent sales...so i explained to them that they need to correct the carfax, due to their lies...there wasn't enough time for someone to steal the mats, they never put any in! I do not reccomend their dealership and i agree with the other statements listed on this page, they are sneaky and will keep you waiting for hours. i wish i found the car somewhere else. Be careful when you are on their lot and make sure to stand your ground like i should have done. More

Few days back I went with my family to purchase a Honda Accord EX-L car we had offered a price of $23,500 for a 2009 Honda Accord the sales person was Manny and Jeff. The sales person informed us he could Accord EX-L car we had offered a price of $23,500 for a 2009 Honda Accord the sales person was Manny and Jeff. The sales person informed us he could try to $24,400 with his manager. But we wanted stick with our offer of $23,500. The manager there did not agree for the $23,500. We walk out of the Bell Honda place. After few days we get an call from another manager call Ramirez new manager called us saying that to come down and he can make deal happen. We clear say that the last offer was $23,500 and sale person had offered us $24,400. Ramirez insists he can make the deal happen, as the difference was just $900. On reaching there they pull out the same car but an different sale manager comes by his Name is Derek say he is head of all the sales people and say he can reduce the his offer by $200 for coming today for $23,200 and make an deal. We accept the deal and shake hands. Ask the sale person to do the paper work, An half hour goes by as the sale person collects the insurance and the driver license information. Meantime a director walks in asks what car we are buy and comes back and says the deal is off. Saying there is a miscommunication within his team and by Derek. The Bell Honda has no proper communication among the team members. Once an offer and deal is done by their sales manager they don’t honor what was agreed upon. There customer service is very poor and management is don’t honor the deal that was made by there manager who is in-charge of the sales. More
5 Hours of pure xxxx. 3000 dollars worth of dealer add-ons to negotiate over. Throughout the sale we were promised 3.9% Honda financing, then, when a price was finally reached, we were told we couldn' add-ons to negotiate over. Throughout the sale we were promised 3.9% Honda financing, then, when a price was finally reached, we were told we couldn't qualify, and they tried to switch us to a 9% loan for an extra year's worth of payments. My credit score is 800 plus. These liars never intended to get us 3.9%, rather, they wanted to make up their profit in lender kickbacks on a high rate loan. There is only one way to describe such tactics. SLEAZY. More
