I bought a new Honda CIVIC from Harvey Lerner of BELL HONDA. We had a conversation with him through E-mails before we went there. I was referred to Bell Honda by a friend/co-worker to purchase a Used Vehicle that was on their lot. After I was initially told the price of the vehicle and was provided with an estimated "out the door" purchase a Used Vehicle that was on their lot. After I was initially told the price of the vehicle and was provided with an estimated "out the door" price, I walked into the Fleet Finance department and spoke with Mr. Kevin Covington who showed me the vehicle. After viewing the vehicle, once we got to the table to finalize the “out the door” price (and NOT Kevin's fault), Kevin's manager (Lee?) pulled the typical "Oh, we forgot that we added this, and that the price of the vehicle did not include that… blah, blah, blah). Well, needless to say, I was upset that they pulled this typical car sales approach and promptly walked out. A few hours later, I received a call from Lee's manager (Cory? - who if I recall correctly was the Fleet Finance Manager)... Cory and I talked over the phone and after a relatively detailed conversation, he promptly eased my mind that Lee was not intending to mislead me on the price/cost of the vehicle, and that any of the aforementioned price/cost increases of the vehicle would be resolved immediately on the phone... Cory made me a very reasonable "out the door" price over the phone that was close to what I was calculating should have been the "out the door" price from the beginning. I verbally accepted the offer and drove back over to Bell Honda to purchase the vehicle that evening. Although the process was still rather lengthy, I must commend Kevin for his politeness, patience and genuine care that he showed me throughout the process... not only did Kevin stay with me until I signed all of my paperwork, we actually had a pretty insightful conversation while awaiting the finance person (Chris Quintana), who, I might add, was also very polite. Although I unfortunately had to endure a brief (unexpected) moment of what I would call a typical car buying experience (with adding misc. items/expenses to the cost of the vehicle), I must say that the Bell Honda Team pulled together to resolve any issue/misunderstanding that arose, and made it an overall pleasant car buying experience... to the point that I will recommend Mr. Kevin Covington (and Bell Honda) to my friends and family - with the caveat to bring your A game and be ready to do business! :). Note: I have not had to have my vehicle serviced yet, but, I am hopefully optimistic that it will be a pleasurable experience. More
The sales aspect of the deal was incredible. I drove 2 hours to get the car and was pleasantly surprised when I showed up that there was NO jerking around or hassles. Kevin had a no nonsense approach that I really appreciated. The 'finance' aspect or as I like to call the "we're trying to sell you more crap" department was a little more annoying. I had to listen to the sales pitxh 4 times by 2 different people. I politely told them 4 times thanks, but no thanks. I guess they gotta try, right. Anyway, my overall experience was good and with the new Civics coming and the 0.9% financing offered thru Honda, this was a slam dunk no brainer! I'd go there again! More

Bill was very professional,kind & nice & he helped us find the car we were looking for. I was really interested in a Hybrid with gas prices rising & also as a matter of priciple - I think ever helped us find the car we were looking for. I was really interested in a Hybrid with gas prices rising & also as a matter of priciple - I think everyone should be driving one in the future, not only to cut down on a our need for gas, but also it is ecologically the thing to do. I had look at the Toyota Pruus & liked it, but it was a little more money than I wanted to spend & the WOW factor wasn't there. I asked to look at the Insight, but was not crazy about the design & look of the car. Bill suggested I look at a CRZ. I looked at several & found one I loved. I bought a gorgeous Northshore blue one may I add for the price I was willing to spend. I LOVE it. I never though I could get my midlife crisis cute car & a hybrid in one. This one ceratinly fills the bill. Everywhere I go people comment on it & I have been singing it's praises. Even going through a drivethrough of a store - "I love your car - what kind is it?" I think Bill is to be commended for listening to his customers (my husband & I) & getting us into a vehicle that is perfect for us in every way! Thank you Bill!!! More

Walked into dealership wanting to test drive a 2008 Accord. The first thing they do is ask if you are trading a vehicle and run down the list on their paper of what options vehicle has how much you owe Accord. You feel ambushed right off the bat. We didn't even know if we liked the car because they hadn't taken us to see it let alone drive it. Heather is the lady that we dealt with and she was very intimidating and pushy. After they ambushed us on our trade they took us to see the car and let us take it for a drive. When we got back Heather asked us if we wanted to go forward with working on buying the vehicle. We weren't quite sure yet if we were in love with the car and didn't know what they were planning on giving for trade so we were hesitant. She sensed that right away and said that if we walk out the door to think about it there is a 4 percent chance that we will come back so she didn't want us to do that because she was in sales and there to sell a car basically. We felt very pressured to make a decision right there and then had a bad feeling about how pushy she was being. For some reason we decided to let them work out numbers and waited for her to come back with a low ball trade offer on our car and ridiculous payment amounts. We listened to her for a few minutes and then I finally stepped in to say we had heard enough and didn't feel like it was a pleasant buying experience and we felt pressured into having to make a decision that we weren't comfortable making right away. I think she was quite shocked and I'm glad. Awful awful experience at Bell Honda. We went to a different dealership later that day and had an awesome buying experience at Tempe Honda. We ended up getting a 2008 BMW. So happy we did that! More
