I had a 3-year lease on a 2006 Honda Odyssey-Touring, which was the BEST car I had ever had (I'm now 67). Having previously leased 3 Lincoln Navigators, I only missed being "up-above" while driving. Bell which was the BEST car I had ever had (I'm now 67). Having previously leased 3 Lincoln Navigators, I only missed being "up-above" while driving. Bell Honda's Joe Triani was my Service Mgr for the 3-years and was fair, honest and knowlegeable; so, I went back to Bell Honda, where I had originally acquired the Odyssey... and ... with the full intention of getting the same car in either "Cardinal Red" or "Sun Devil Maroon". Nathaniel and Matt (Matt sold us the Odyssey)said that they would do some inventory checking for the color I wanted, but "... in the mean-time,take a look at this Dark Cherry PILOT ...". Nate knew the car inside-out, took us for a test-ride, and within 20 minutes I knew that I had just found my NEW ... new BEST car! Matt acted as the go-between with the proverbial "big boss", and before we knew it ... we bought the "Top-of-the-Line" PILOT ... Cash = $ 40,000.00. Steve, in finance, and also an ex-Sun Devil, smoooooooth talked us into a few extras for a couple more-thousands ... we were off - and never been happier!!! The upgraded color digital back-up camera is a wonder. The GPS system is second to NONE (Including my wife's Navigator ... which she soon hopesd to convert to a PILOT). And ... the "Hand-Free Phone Link" beats sliced-bread.And I can't wait to take in for my first service, knowing that Triani is going to have to baby-sit my new nitrogen filled tires. Seriously ... I just couldn't be more pleased with my new BEST car, and the experience of purchasing it. More
I was lured in under false pretenses. After a long 3 hour drive with a disability, I was offered only 50% of what was promised on the phone. When I complained, I was made to be the bad guy. Major integrity i drive with a disability, I was offered only 50% of what was promised on the phone. When I complained, I was made to be the bad guy. Major integrity issues. Prices were good, howver, I uncovered several lies. I have filed complaints with the BBB and now looking into the fraud aspect of it. Stay away from these guys. This would have been my second purchase from Bell Honda. Instead of continuing a relationship, they made a life long enemy!! More
After all these years of driving a 1993 Honda Accord EX, I decided it was time to buy another car. I did extensive research on the internet looking at various cars that I thought would meet my needs, would I decided it was time to buy another car. I did extensive research on the internet looking at various cars that I thought would meet my needs, would perform to the standards I expect, was priced right and most of all, I would be proud to own and drive. When looking at all these objectives, I always came back to a Honda. I contacted five Honda dealerships in the Phoenix Tucson areas checking price, dealership history and service departments. On the Honda Website, I studied specification differences between the Accord models and built my “dream car” inside and out. On February 11, I stopped at Bell Honda to test drive an Accord EX-L to make sure this was the best car for me. I was immediately greeted by Steffan Burris, Senior Sales Consultant, who was friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable. He immediately realized I was a qualified buyer who did not need to be sold on the brand, but instead guided me through the process and made me feel as I was his number one priority. The dealership was well stocked with vehicles to choose from and I immediately narrowed the choice down to two vehicles. After test driving both cars, I could not decide between the two. Steffan took the incentive to present both cars sitting nose to nose so I could physically decide which was “my” car and the decision was made so much easier. Steffan in advance, prepped Steven Turai, the Business Manager, regarding my loan requirements so he can immediately start the loan process to ensure I received the best loan for my needs. Steven was efficient, professional and knowledgeable which made the process go extremely fast. He explained thoroughly each step and answered every question until he was comfortable I understood the financial obligation I was undertaking. While I was finalizing the loan application, Steffan himself prepped and dressed my car inside and out since the dealership was now closed. He transferred by personal belongings from my “old” car into the new car. What an experience! In a matter of hours, saying goodbye to a car I loved and had serviced me so well, to driving home in a beautiful 2009 pearl white Accord EX-L. The next day I received a call from the dealership thanking me not only for my business, but wanted to ensure I was satisfied with the vehicle. I met with Steffan after work and he walked me through all the various features of the car to ensure I took full advantage of all the options available. He also took the time to come to my home to activate the garage door opener option. I am now looking forward to establishing a relationship with the Service Manager and department to ensure this car performs in a way that ONLY a Honda does. Thank you Bell Honda for going the extra mile to ensure I am a satisfied customer. Janice Melton More
Buying a used car was never meant to be fun, but my salesperson at Bell Honda, Darin Johnson was great. Darin was patient and thoughtful to both me and my wife, who was distracted by my 3 year old son salesperson at Bell Honda, Darin Johnson was great. Darin was patient and thoughtful to both me and my wife, who was distracted by my 3 year old son, when we purchased a our "new" Honda Certified used car from him. The car was actually as good as new but with a much better price and get this a much better warranty. We had fun buying a used car and the sales manager Scott and the finance guy Roman both did wonderful jobs in making sure that all our questions were answereed and that we were comfortable with the answers. They actually are not scared of saying that they did not know the answer and went to go find the answer and come back to us with the informaiton we requested. We have continued to do business with Bell HOnda and have had the car serviced and met Adrian onthe service drive who was on top of his job. We have now owned our used Honda for nearly 4 months and even with this horrible economy, we are dreaming of a new car in the next couple of years. Bell Honda and Darin Johnson can count on us as happy loyal customers. More

Well, my family owns more than 4 Honda's at present, all purchased at Bell Honda. Having said that, I am convinced that I would rather go to Scottsdale Honda to purchase my next Honda than at Bell. Your car sales department needs surgical intervention. I found no respect whatsoever in that show room although I have bought 9 cars during the past 10 years from Bell. The frequent changes in personnel make it hard for a faithful customer like me to do business anymore with Bell Honda as there does not seem to have a system to check history of a faithful customer. They do not seem to get it. At many a time I have tried to find your General Manager but always I get a lame excuse that he is at a meeting. Which meeting is more important for a good manager - one about office administration/revenue or with a potential (in my case, a faithful) customer? It seems to me that the GM operates from "an undisclosed location". Who is he hiding from - the customer? Recently I found it is hard to believe that Bell Honda Sales believes that the customer must come first. On another note: I regularly get calls from Bell Honda around dinner time and have requested each caller to remove my name and the phone number from their list. I do not need an introduction to Bell Honda. They do not seem to have any other desire but to bulldoze the customer with what they have to say. They do not wish to "listen". In people oriented business such as yours, that kind of attitude is a disaster, don’t you think? It seems to me that the used car sales department has a new manager who has come from the North. He seems to be energetic but lacks knowledge of the culture and the mindset of people of the Southwest. I am sure he will learn soon. His team has no idea what a smile can do when a customer walks in. Send someone in on your place and you will notice what I am talking about. The service department, on the other hand, is a very well run enterprise. From the simple lot attendant (most of them though) to the Director. I found it easy to talk to people who are in-charge there, including the master-mechanics. I have also told the managers that Bell Honda Service must re-evaluate their pricing (both parts and service) as there are many local garages who will execute the same repair job for less using original Honda parts with a guarantee for their work. But what keeps me coming to your service department is the friendliness of some of the advisors and the trust I have in the managers - Mr. Tom Fennen and Mr. Jim Cole. Among the advisors, I am glad to see some of the old hands have been asked to leave as they did not do justice to the post they were called upon to serve. This includes some of the shuttle drivers. They did not seem to recognize that they are "BELL HONDA" in the presence of a customer. I must commend Mr. Fennen for a fabulous job he is doing in creating a positive attitude in each members of his team as well as his stern desire for a well-run administration with an attitude to witness complete satisfaction in each customer. He values everyone that walks into his department. I like that. Respectfully, Lal Fernando p.s. I have included my email address in the log-in. Please DO NOT send any information on car sales to me. My experience with Bell Honda was very positive. The sales staff was very polite and helpful. I was taken care of from the moment I walked into the building until I left with my car. Went to dealership looking at used, gave them my budget they tried to sell me a car 5 grand over saying "it will work, it will work" They put me through xxxx going to different sales people over and over a they tried to sell me a car 5 grand over saying "it will work, it will work" They put me through xxxx going to different sales people over and over after i said NO DEAL. They kept calling over the next couple days to sell me this way too expensive car saying if i come down they will work something out, i told them no FINALLY they gave up. A few days after that they called and said they were having a tent event i figured what the xxxx and i went, i found a nice used honda accord, great car! there were no floor mats in it and i asked if they would put some in, of course not, at tent sales it's "as is" so i sucked it up and moved on. i still ended up with the car but since it was the end of the night they left me with all the writing on the windows still saying i'm buying it "as is" but the salesman said he would make an exception and call me the following day to schedule a detail job to be done to the car. i called twice left messages the next day and NOTHING no one bothered to call me back. I felt great about my car the night i bought it, now 3 days later i feel cheated and duped. I hope someone comes along and straightens them out. The final thing that made me very angry was when i pulled up the carfax report, the report the dealer made before i bought it says they did safety inspections, detailed the car, changed the oil and INSTALLED FLOOR MATS...well i called after i saw that and they said someone probably stole them, that's what happens at tent sales...so i explained to them that they need to correct the carfax, due to their lies...there wasn't enough time for someone to steal the mats, they never put any in! I do not reccomend their dealership and i agree with the other statements listed on this page, they are sneaky and will keep you waiting for hours. i wish i found the car somewhere else. Be careful when you are on their lot and make sure to stand your ground like i should have done. More
