I was very impressed with Bell Honda. From the moment I pulled into a Customer Parking space, I was treated with friendliness, respect, and professionalism. Besides the two salesmen that I worked with, ev pulled into a Customer Parking space, I was treated with friendliness, respect, and professionalism. Besides the two salesmen that I worked with, everyone else working that night made me feel welcome and more than a customer. They smiled at me, and took time to say "Hi!" Carl and Brendon answered all of my questions in great detail. Neither of them gave me a pressured sales pitch. More than once, they asked me what was it that I wanted. They made sure that I purchased a vehicle that I could afford and fit into my budget. It's rare that you find car salesmen with that attitude. The closing/financial part was also pleasant. Derrick explained everything, including the benefits of purchasing the extra warranty and alarm system, in a manner that was easy to understand. He showed me respect and made me feel that no question was too silly. After I made a decision on which Honda Civic I wanted to purchase, I qualified to ring the big bell. It's a good feeling! I've been driving my 2009 Honda Civic now for two weeks and just love it! I am getting 40 miles to the gallon and that just like BELL HONDA IS GREAT!!! If you are thinking about purchasing a Honda, visit Bell Honda. I was glad I did and you will be too. A satisfied customer, Shirley Straw More
In August, I purchased a Honda Accord EX at Bell Honda in Phoenix, AZ. I am writing this letter to thank them for the excellent after-sale service that I received. Even though I brought my concerns to Mr. Phoenix, AZ. I am writing this letter to thank them for the excellent after-sale service that I received. Even though I brought my concerns to Mr. Travis Holt, the General Manager, more than 3 weeks after I took delivery of the car, he took the time to listen courteously to my concerns and acted upon them having me work with Mr. Jake Baulch, the Assistant Service Manager. Mr. Baulch then made sure that the following upgrades and repairs were done to my satisfaction in a timely manner. Specifically, the initial Wood Grain Trim Package wasn't satisfactory and it was upgraded. Also, the driver side seatback was adjusted and repaired which involved the removal and re-install of the leather seat cover. Therefore, I highly recommend Bell Honda because of my after-sale experience. They obviously care that their customers are very satisfied with their new car purchase. Sincerely, Fred Schmidt More
It is very unfortunate that I have to waste my time writing this review however I want to share my experience with others so they don’t go through the same frustration. That is the point of reviews any writing this review however I want to share my experience with others so they don’t go through the same frustration. That is the point of reviews anyway! I was looking to buy a new car, not necessarily brand new but fairly new! I had my Honda coupe EX 98 to trade in and I called the Honda dealers that were close to me. It took about 2 weeks of talking to sales people at the dealerships to find out who could match the price range of Hondas I was looking for. With BellHonda, I was speaking to several people however Lee at the fleet department called me and told me that he had the car I was looking for the price I wanted to pay. At this point I had been speaking to him for a week and he knew I wanted a Civic LX and had my civic EX 98 plus 15k, cash! As I get to bell Honda with my husband, Lee greets us and proceeds to evaluate my Honda while he has Sunny show us cars. [ok, so where is the car he said he had ready for me?????] The Sunny keeps showing me all kinds of cars, including other brands and I’m like: what’s going on? Next thing you know, Joe comes into the picture and proceeds to offer us Hundays or Nissans and we're like: we onlu want HONDAS and [we're you supposed to know that already?] Then Joe tell us how he has a car but can't get a hold of it because way too many people were looking at it [I found out after I bought it that the car had been advertised on bellhonda.com for a while]. So we test drive the car, it’s a Honda DX-VP and it’ has about 8k miles in it. Not bad but not what we wanted! However up to this point it’s really late, we spent all day at bell Honda. Joe states he knows I wanna spend 15K and comes with a price of 16k OTD including my car and asks if we would like it. My husband and I agree and Joe goes to get the paperwork. Not surprisingly, he comes back saying the guy I had originally spoken to [Will} had my info in the system as if I was from Alaska and they did not add taxes. [total xxxxxxxx because Bell Honda already had ALL of my info in their system because I had been a customer before with our other Hondas] Now the car was going to cost me another 783 bucks. We ended up buying the car because it wasn’t such a bad deal. It was a certified pre owned car and Joe said he would add the car alarm, plus first oil change and because the car was an online deal, we would still get a gas car [big deal compared to the 17K I was spending]. But then we went to a restaurant for dinner from the dealership and realized the car had no floor mats, no power doors. We have always had Hondas and all of our cars always had power doors and cruise control. Well that was enough for us to realize that they sold us something that was not what we wanted! We were extremely unhappy with the way we were treated and with the games they played to keep us from going to other dealers and to get us to buy the car. We found out that with another 3k we could get a brand new LX and this is what we did. My original Honda was given the value of $2100 by bell Honda when we purchased the certified pre owned however when we decided to return it and buy the new one, they only gave $1000 for it. As I argue with Sam, some manager there and say how this is not right, he has the nerve to tell me "yes it is and if I don't wanna take the LX I don't have to". I said I would gladly leave it if I could return the DX...but turns out I am stuck because they do not accept returns once you buy it. Also as little as a gas car and a first oil change is, they never gave them to us. And of we call or email asking about it, they do not reply. Actually Lee said he did not have any gift certificates at the store and was gonna order mine about 2 weeks ago and I am YET to hear back from him. Not to mention that the sale description of my brand new Honda includes the alarm and they did not activate it. I sent them an email about it and got no reply either. I will NEVER recommend Bell Honda to ANYONE I know. I know sales people play games to get people to buy their products but we certainly did not expect that much lack of respect for that much money. We bought the car with cash and I regret 100% the fact that my money went to bell Honda. Unfortunately once you buy the car they make it so you can not return it and I had to buy my new one from them and I will have to keep going there to service my car for as long as I have it. This is my first brand new car ever…paid in full and I was supposed to be very happy. Thanks to bell Honda's sales people for ruining it for me!!!!!!!!!! More
Well - we have just left the BELL HONDA dealership after Shaun Hicks and Michael seemed to drag out an entire evening at the dealership (WITH OUR 2 SMALL CHILDREN!). We had spent over 2 1/2 hours looking Shaun Hicks and Michael seemed to drag out an entire evening at the dealership (WITH OUR 2 SMALL CHILDREN!). We had spent over 2 1/2 hours looking at and discussing the terms and conditions of the vehicle we had selected. We came in pre-qualified and were clear, straight-forward and defined our terms of purchase down to the penny - STATING THAT THIS WAS OUR OFFER - WE UNDERSTAND IF THIS DOESN'T WORK FOR THEM - BUT THIS IS OUR OFFER (which we thought was appropriate and fair). Both, Shaun and Michael, stated that this was a fair and do-able offer that we presented. This was after they presented their first offer of full sticker price for their vehicle and lower than low-ball offer for our trade-in - which I refused and was ready to walk, no hard feelings at that time. We had visited the dealership the night before and were told (by Shaun) that if we did want to trade our vehicle in he knew he could sell it (noting it is a desirable vehicle) for a certain amount saying take a couple of grand off for their over head and that would be appropriate trade-in value. The terms all seemed to change once they got our pay off amount and realized we would have some equity in our trade in! But then they came back inline with our terms after some timely discussion... then after 2 1/2 hrs of discussions they came back with the final paperwork that was full price for their vehicle w/ a offer for our trade that was $200 higher than the initial offer that I refused! xxx?! Why I am frustrated is that we had already discussed and agreed to a trade-in value with BOTH Shaun & Michael!? We had already defined ALL of the terms of the purchase and trade and BOTH noted that this was a do-able and fair offer. I was not frustrated that we couldn't come to an agreement but I was frustrated that Shaun and Michael misrepresented the deal and dragged this process out for our entire family to endure showing a lack af respect and value for our families time and patience. Yes - I understand that this might just be typical car dealership etiquette. I suggest that you speak with and deal with someone at any dealership that is a person that can provide straight forward responses to agreed to negotiations as the discussions progress. Unfortunatley this was just a long waste of time! Shaun and Michael - should I bill you for my time? More
I have bought four cars from Bell Honda, and have had a totally excellent experience each time. Travis Holt, Gen. Mgr and his sales/finance crew are awesome. I can't wait to buy my next cars from Travis. totally excellent experience each time. Travis Holt, Gen. Mgr and his sales/finance crew are awesome. I can't wait to buy my next cars from Travis. My sales people, both Jason Teel in Internet/Fleet sales and Camille Volcy in showroom sales are both amazing people who love the "art of the deal," it is always a pleasure to buy from these two gentlemen. Their customer service is above and beyond your expectations from picking out the right car, to making the numbers work for you, to delivery, Jason and Camille are exceptional. Travis Holt the General Manager wants to ensure that every Bell Honda customer is treated as a VIP, Bell Honda values your business and it reflects in the way they treat their customers. If you're ever not satisfied, you can always address your concerns to Mr. Holt who will make sure that you are satisfied. In finance you have competent individuals such as Derrek Dillon and Damon DeChamp (who has since moved out of state) that will wrap up your financing and any little extra's that go with your Honda. Honda has many additional things to offer such as SmartNote, Lo Jack, Tire Assure, Zaktec and Gap insurance that you can wrap up into your deal. Jeff and Cory back in finance are also there to help things run smoothly. Buying a car from Bell Honda is simply fun and its like visiting family. After your purchase they have wonderful people to keep you on the road such as Travis Millner over in Service. The service people at Bell are some pretty nice people too. Bell Honda is just a fun place to buy your next Honda! Susan R. Hogan More
I have been going to this dealership for service on my Civic for three years for convenience but I feel it is worth it to travel extra just to avoid them. The service representatives are arrogrant and in Civic for three years for convenience but I feel it is worth it to travel extra just to avoid them. The service representatives are arrogrant and incompetent. I have had a couple of bad experiences with them. The first was when I brought the car in for routine maintanence, they said I needed new wind shield wipers the price was reasonable so I allowed them to do it. The first time I drive in the rain the drivers side wiper snaps. I take the car back and speak to the same service representative I had the day before after trying to convince me the wiper breaking was my fault he finally relents and says he'll "good will" me a new blade. The second experience actually happened on a number of occasions. If you have a Civic you might notice that there is a black rubber band underneath the front bumper, that stretches from one tire to the other. The one on mine started coming down on the drivers side in the summer of 2006. I have brought my car to Bell Honda, again merely for convenience, for all routine maintanence ever since, and every time I would ask them to please fix the rubber peice on the bumper. Most of the times my requests were ignored or if I was lucky the "mechanics" would give a half hearted effort that wasn't even as good as my own tries at fixing the problem and the piece would drop again in a matter of days. I started to believe that the problem just was not fixable. That is until I visited friends out of town and they suggested going to the dealer in their city. I did this almost two months ago now and the piece is not even loose. I will not be going to Bell Honda for anything again. In fact my experiences with them have made me question any future purchase of a Honda. More
I was very pleased with how easy my car buying experience with Bell Honda was. I found the staff friendly and helpful, and eager to make me feel comfortable about purchasing a car. They had a great selection with Bell Honda was. I found the staff friendly and helpful, and eager to make me feel comfortable about purchasing a car. They had a great selection of both new cars and used cars and helped me find a used CRV, which was exactly what I was looking for, at a great price. I had a 3-year lease on a 2006 Honda Odyssey-Touring, which was the BEST car I had ever had (I'm now 67). Having previously leased 3 Lincoln Navigators, I only missed being "up-above" while driving. Bell which was the BEST car I had ever had (I'm now 67). Having previously leased 3 Lincoln Navigators, I only missed being "up-above" while driving. Bell Honda's Joe Triani was my Service Mgr for the 3-years and was fair, honest and knowlegeable; so, I went back to Bell Honda, where I had originally acquired the Odyssey... and ... with the full intention of getting the same car in either "Cardinal Red" or "Sun Devil Maroon". Nathaniel and Matt (Matt sold us the Odyssey)said that they would do some inventory checking for the color I wanted, but "... in the mean-time,take a look at this Dark Cherry PILOT ...". Nate knew the car inside-out, took us for a test-ride, and within 20 minutes I knew that I had just found my NEW ... new BEST car! Matt acted as the go-between with the proverbial "big boss", and before we knew it ... we bought the "Top-of-the-Line" PILOT ... Cash = $ 40,000.00. Steve, in finance, and also an ex-Sun Devil, smoooooooth talked us into a few extras for a couple more-thousands ... we were off - and never been happier!!! The upgraded color digital back-up camera is a wonder. The GPS system is second to NONE (Including my wife's Navigator ... which she soon hopesd to convert to a PILOT). And ... the "Hand-Free Phone Link" beats sliced-bread.And I can't wait to take in for my first service, knowing that Triani is going to have to baby-sit my new nitrogen filled tires. Seriously ... I just couldn't be more pleased with my new BEST car, and the experience of purchasing it. More
I was lured in under false pretenses. After a long 3 hour drive with a disability, I was offered only 50% of what was promised on the phone. When I complained, I was made to be the bad guy. Major integrity i drive with a disability, I was offered only 50% of what was promised on the phone. When I complained, I was made to be the bad guy. Major integrity issues. Prices were good, howver, I uncovered several lies. I have filed complaints with the BBB and now looking into the fraud aspect of it. Stay away from these guys. This would have been my second purchase from Bell Honda. Instead of continuing a relationship, they made a life long enemy!! More
After all these years of driving a 1993 Honda Accord EX, I decided it was time to buy another car. I did extensive research on the internet looking at various cars that I thought would meet my needs, would I decided it was time to buy another car. I did extensive research on the internet looking at various cars that I thought would meet my needs, would perform to the standards I expect, was priced right and most of all, I would be proud to own and drive. When looking at all these objectives, I always came back to a Honda. I contacted five Honda dealerships in the Phoenix Tucson areas checking price, dealership history and service departments. On the Honda Website, I studied specification differences between the Accord models and built my “dream car” inside and out. On February 11, I stopped at Bell Honda to test drive an Accord EX-L to make sure this was the best car for me. I was immediately greeted by Steffan Burris, Senior Sales Consultant, who was friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable. He immediately realized I was a qualified buyer who did not need to be sold on the brand, but instead guided me through the process and made me feel as I was his number one priority. The dealership was well stocked with vehicles to choose from and I immediately narrowed the choice down to two vehicles. After test driving both cars, I could not decide between the two. Steffan took the incentive to present both cars sitting nose to nose so I could physically decide which was “my” car and the decision was made so much easier. Steffan in advance, prepped Steven Turai, the Business Manager, regarding my loan requirements so he can immediately start the loan process to ensure I received the best loan for my needs. Steven was efficient, professional and knowledgeable which made the process go extremely fast. He explained thoroughly each step and answered every question until he was comfortable I understood the financial obligation I was undertaking. While I was finalizing the loan application, Steffan himself prepped and dressed my car inside and out since the dealership was now closed. He transferred by personal belongings from my “old” car into the new car. What an experience! In a matter of hours, saying goodbye to a car I loved and had serviced me so well, to driving home in a beautiful 2009 pearl white Accord EX-L. The next day I received a call from the dealership thanking me not only for my business, but wanted to ensure I was satisfied with the vehicle. I met with Steffan after work and he walked me through all the various features of the car to ensure I took full advantage of all the options available. He also took the time to come to my home to activate the garage door opener option. I am now looking forward to establishing a relationship with the Service Manager and department to ensure this car performs in a way that ONLY a Honda does. Thank you Bell Honda for going the extra mile to ensure I am a satisfied customer. Janice Melton More
