Greg Bell yes, GM no. Greg Bell has a friendly staff. The facility is top notch. The transmission repair seems to be working after the second visit. I like that there seems to be a dress code for the staff who appear professional. The car wash is a nice feature that demonstrates appreciation for the business. An area to improve is to be to be proactive in communicating issues or delays. Don’t wait for the customer to call. Another suggestion is not to allow a heavy smoker drive the repaired car to the lot. I’m sure the person did not smoke in the car, but it reeked of cigarette smoke when I entered my car. If the dealership wants to add another feature of appreciation, maybe transportation service for one car owners. Although the dealership is a class act, I will never purchase another GM product. It’s not the dealership’s fault for the transmission to fail after 53,000 miles on a five year old vehicle. I am 60 years old and I drive like one, so I have a hard time understanding how the transmission became damaged. I have only bought GM products. My Cutlass had issues in the 70’s, but all American cars had issues. That’s why foreign cars emerged big time in the 80’s. I bought two Geos that were wonderful cars, but it is probably the Toyota influence on the vehicles. How can Hyundai guarantee their transmission for 10 years or 100,000 miles? GM is making billions. It can afford to lose a few grains of sand from each fistful it grabs. For me, the $2,800 it cost me to repair the transmission is painful. My next purchase will be an American made car by Toyota or Honda. More
