trust your gut NOT what they try and tell you Just took my 2015 Chevy Silverado in for an oil change and also had a factory recall on the steering. For the last few days I could hear and feel what Just took my 2015 Chevy Silverado in for an oil change and also had a factory recall on the steering. For the last few days I could hear and feel what sounded like something rubbing on my drivers side front tire so I asked them to also take a look at it. They put it on the computer and told me it wasn't the drivers side it was the passenger side wheel hub has bearings going bad and I told them that couldn't be correct that I felt it on the driver side. They insisted it was the passenger side. told me it would cost $573 to fix and that it isn't covered on the power-train.. This truck was just bought in August and only has 50K miles on it now. I then went to pay and they tried to charge me for my oil change which was free due to my 2 free oil changes when I bought the truck, this was my second. They also charged me $25 for putting the truck on the computer... I could have gotten my oil changed and the recall done at any other GM/Chevy dealership.. I wont use Greg Bell Chevy again. Later that day I was driving my truck listening to the front left rub and thought something must be wrong so I called the manager and he went into the whole spiel of you can think what you want or you can trust our certified techs.... so I said heres what we are going to do I am going to come pick you up and you're gonna ride with me and hear and feel what I am hearing, he agreed then I heard him asking the tech if he listened to the truck and put a scope on it... he then said your right it is the left they messed up... WOW just Wow. I looked up the part and its $67 on Amazon... Ill put it on myself and save myself $506. Not only are they incompetent but they are also way overpriced. More
