The Easy Way to Buy a Car On August 2014 I bought a new 2015 Subaru Forester from Beechmont Subaru. In 2010 I had bought a new Forester from Beechmont Subaru and had found the On August 2014 I bought a new 2015 Subaru Forester from Beechmont Subaru. In 2010 I had bought a new Forester from Beechmont Subaru and had found the transaction easy and the vehicle excellent. The purchase of the 2015 Forester was equally easy and pleasant. I had done my homework and had in mind a maximum figure I was willing to pay. Beechmont Subaru does not do business in the conventional way. They do not require the purchaser to offer a figure. They propose a sale based on a price they offer. As in 2010, Beechmont Subaru offered me a price on the exact model I wanted with all the features I wanted and none I didn't want. The purchase price in August was $400 less than the maximum figure I had set. The only downside was that I had brought my adult son with me to show him how to haggle with a dealer. However, the transaction was so brief and the negotiations so easy that he learned practically nothing from the experience. More

We had been there at Beechmont Subaru early last summer and LOVED the Forester but wanted to wait to save for a down payment and now was the time to buy a car but was kind of wary of the Subaru issue. We had spend the day looking at other types of cars at other dealers but decided to give Subaru one more chance. Immediately Todd Gray was the first one we came to and he not only answered our questions and concerns and went well out of his way to find what we had in mind and how he could help . He is very professional but informative, kind and friendly . He worked with us and got us into a Forester that was everything and more that we wanted! We never felt pushed or hurried! I would recommend Todd for anyone who has any wariness about car salesmen. He was wonderful! More

Beechmont Subaru Serivce = HACKS!! Bought a 2010 Subaru Legacy 3.6R in November 2010. Included free oil changes for life of ownership. After 2.5 years and appox 44,000 miles Beechmont Bought a 2010 Subaru Legacy 3.6R in November 2010. Included free oil changes for life of ownership. After 2.5 years and appox 44,000 miles Beechmont Subaru leaves the drain plug loose and nearly all of the oil leaks out of engine. The engine was consuming quarts of oil between intervals. After year and a half and 40,000 miles driven, I was still fighting with them about oil consumption, finally performed oil consumption test and the engine fails. Subaru Corporate agrees to change out the short block. After 6 months of driving with new engine, Idler Pulley and Tensioner Pulley is reported that their failing. Idler pulley fails three hours after leaving Beechmont Subaru. Bolt is hand tight, Bearing completely failed and Belt is in shreds. John tells me the bolt was tight 6 months ago and that my case on overtorquing or undertorquing would never hold up in court. Every bolt on vehicle has a torque he said. Funny, didn't Beechmont subaru leave my oil plug loose!!!!! Beechmont Subaru takes no ownership and passes blame on customer. I was left with John telling me there is no way we can do business anymore. I am to difficult of a customer. ( Perhaps trying to talk technical and scam customers don't work when dealing with an Aviation/Automotive Mechanic that calls B.S!!! For now on I have to go in and have them give me the free oil and filter so I can change it myself. If you see me walking out with oil and a filter from the service center, feel free to approach and let me share my story!!! I am tired of being told lies!! Never Again Beechmont Subaru, NEVER AGAIN!!! More

New Car Experience I had set out to purchase a used Forester seen online. I wad fortunate to be teamed with Jay Schnieders. What a great experience for me. He was profes I had set out to purchase a used Forester seen online. I wad fortunate to be teamed with Jay Schnieders. What a great experience for me. He was professional, courteous, patient and completely knowledgeable about the Subaru vehicles. He had me test drive, inspect other vehicles, offered to test any and all. He really gave me his individual attention. He explained how for a small amount of money, I could purchase a new Forester. I went home, talked with my neighbors and family. At 3:00 am, I went online and found a similar used vehicle at a competitors. At a decent hour, I drove there to check out the vehicles listed.The person I was teamed with, explained similarly, how I could benefit from a new Forester. There was not the same connection I experienced with Jay. I went home, called Jay, told him my experience and asked if he was free to meet with me today. He told me to come on over. Upon reviewing all possibilities, I purchased a new 2015. After a test drive and many questions, I went with the new vehicle. This truly was a positive experience, and I will recommend him to family and friends. More
