Headlights The night before Thanksgiving and I had a headlight out. I drove by Beaverton Kia and drove back to their service Dept 5:15 pm) and was met by Nathan The night before Thanksgiving and I had a headlight out. I drove by Beaverton Kia and drove back to their service Dept 5:15 pm) and was met by Nathan and I asked him if I could buy a new headlight and if someone could install it, too. He said of course and Alex the mechanic installed it for me. The guys were super nice and Nathan only charged me for the lightbulb. Thank you Nathan and Alex! Your kindness and customer service was greatly appreciated! I would definitely recommend Beaverton Kia Service Dept. I do have to say the gentleman in the parts Dept was nice, too. More

UPDATE 10/16/17: I was contacted by the GM, Bill Stallard, on 10/6/2017 shortly after I posted my review. We had a conversation about my experience. He was very polite and professional, and offered to do his best to fix my situation and make me a happy customer. He had the service manager, Rob Corder, call me and set up an appointment to drop my Sonic off at Kia for them to take to Chevy. I dropped it off on 10/10/17 and was given a 2017 Kia Optima service rental at no charge to me. Kia took my car to Chevy on 10/11/17. Rob communicated with me via text. I picked up my car from Kia on 10/13/17. I was given a bill for the service but was not charged for any portion of it. The issue was the EGR solonoid, I believe. Rob told me this issue isn't normally covered by the limited warranty, but due to the fact that I'd just purchased the car and had gone thru all the trouble before, Kia took care of it. The balanced out my tires as well, becuase my tire pressure light had come on as well. As of yet, I haven't had any other issues. I'm satisfied with the outcome. I wish it hadn't been so difficult to get this taken care of, but I appreciate the GM and service manager making this right for me. Original 10/6/17: I bought a 2104 Chevy Sonic from the Beaverton Kia dealership on 8/24/17. Within the first 5 days, my check engine light came on. I brought it in, left it there all day...only to have to call them to REMIND them to pick me back up from work...just to get there and them tell me that they'd "done all they could" and reset the light. I was told that I'd have to take it to Chevy if it happened again, because Kia doesn't have special Chevy tools. I was told this would still be covered under my warranty. Well, it happened again. I reset the light myself, hoping it was just a gas cap issue...but then it came on again after about 100 miles. I called Kia and explained that this was not the first time, and that I was told it'd need to go to Chevy. Kia set me an appointment for me to bring it to them. When I got there, Carlos in Service says how it has to go to Chevy...I KNOW! He then asks if I want him to call Chevy...um, of course, I didn't come down here to chat with you! Perhaps his bloodshot eyes and distracted demeanor should have raised some red flags. Anyway, brought it to Chevy and was told I'd have to pay for the diagnosis. Called Kia and they said "the warranty will cover it depending on the diagnosis". I'm sorry...what?? I was told it was covered. The light came on RIGHT after I got it. I'm fairly certain those scheming xxxxxxxx at Kia reset the computer right before selling it to me. I'm going down there this weekend and they'd better have a better solution for me. This is ridiculous. I'm a single mother working my butt off to take care of my children. The whole point of trading in my old car was to get a safe, reliable car to transport my children around in, and get to and from work to provide for them. Everyone at Kia should be ashamed of themselves. They take advantage of people in desperate situations. More

However after checking out it was brought to my attention about the new 2017 KIA OPTIMA by Carlos and Mike Mcintosh drove it up for me to look at..........I've been a loyal customer since 2002 and have purchased my Sportage, Sorrento, Optima and as of 4/8/17 my new 2017 Optima....wow what a surprise..... I go in for regular service on my 2012 Optima and I walk out with a 2017 Optima. The process was very smooth and "no pressure" what so ever. Mike was very knowledgeable and efficient. As always Kia Dealership has treated me well whether it being in the Service Department or to purchase a car. Thank you from a very loyal customer. More
Poor Service/Not Performing Inspections I had a poor experience when I brought my vehicle to be serviced last Friday. I pay good money to bring my vehicle into the dealership to ensure that I had a poor experience when I brought my vehicle to be serviced last Friday. I pay good money to bring my vehicle into the dealership to ensure that things are being completed up to standards. I was extremely disappointed when I was recommended a cabin filter when I personally replaced the cabin filter day of service before coming in. I have my receipt as proof that I bought and replaced myself, but now I am left wondering if I should even bring my vehicle in to get service in the future. How am I to trust and believe services that are being told to get completed are actually facts. You guys couldn't even get my cabin filter correct, so how am I going to trust that a service for $150 is actually going to get done or even need to be done. I left with quotes for what needs to be done and upon looking at my rear lights, none of them were burnt out. Just another reason on why I am left wondering does Beaverton Kia take pride in their work or are they just trying to push me out and collect my money. That to me is a poor reflection on the Kia name and I don't think that Kia wants to be forever be making poor business impressions. More

Leased a car back in April 2014 and at first it was great they helped us find a car we loved and still love and got us set up with a maintenance plan...WHERE WE GET A RENTAL CAR PAID FOR WHEN WE TAKE OUR CAR IN THAT MATCHES OUR 40,000 CAR...(LIARS) & i was suppose to receive a detail with my first oil change...the moment we called back for our first oil change... its went down hill from there..THEY SET UP an oil change with me over the phone, my boyfriend brought the car in to get it changed a couple weeks later on my appointment date... well little did we both know it was being held over night... (it had the car seat still in it that I use for work friday am and saturday am) the man said he would call when it was ready.. well he called FRIDAY NIGHT SAYING IT WASNT GOING TO BE DONE until Tomorrow.. never stated his business hours or any freaking time in either messages when he said It was done.. so saturday after my 12 hour job I sat in traffic for 1.5 hours and at 650-7pm when i arrived it was closed! and i couldn't get in... the rental car that we had was an upgrade that we were paying like 50 extra a day because the one they offered was a low priced nothing quality car... FINALLY SUNDAY I drove their to get my car.. and I WAS PISSED... HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION ECT.. then stepping in my car realizing it was not detailed i WAS LIVID!!!!!!! for the rental car i left it at the front desk with the lady since the service department was closed (i prearranged a pick up) the rental place that dropped off the car was closed and NO WAY IN xxxx WAS I DRIVING BACK OUT AGAIN .... two weeks later they contact us saying we OWE 500 plus dollars because we had it for two weeks... xxx?! I called kia about 5 times to resolve the problem they didn't do crap to help me or even call me back. So i contacted the rental company and explained. ROUND TWO!? i already paid for oil changes and what not in my monthly payment so i went back again... I made an appointment and told them about the detail I never recieved and that I needed a car to be ready since would be 3 or more hours ... had to call and cancel and reschedule due to work obligations... any who My boyfriend brought it back in and NO xxxx CAR WAS READY not to mention they had no detail recorded or oil change!!!!! tire rotation?!!??! FINALLY GOT A CAR freaking box car. whatever we figured it wasn't going to be same match as ours (kia optima 2014 turbo) ...... Finally lol after this all getting it back the detail job was horrible i would never get a detail from them again I COULD HIRE A 10 year old to do it. the vacuumed some areas THAT WAS ABOUT IT!!! Don't suggest this place, will never return or recommend buying or shopping from them or service! Keep in mind before leaving this review i had called and complained and they said they would call back ect. NOPE.... months and months have gone by so truth comes out finally. More

I am Speachless At What Happened Today. I would like to add to this review that Braynt in the Service department, has always been so caring and helpful when I have had to come in to have my I would like to add to this review that Braynt in the Service department, has always been so caring and helpful when I have had to come in to have my KIA serviced or with the other issues we have had with it. He always makes sure I am well taken care of.. When I woke up this morning, my day was all planned out. Getting a new car was not in our plans. After my photo sessions were canceled due to the rain, we got back in our car a started to go home. I received a call from our daughter, and that is when everything started to take a turn for the worse. My UVO system froze up again. I was no longer hands free, and then the whole sound system went back. I told my husband, we're heading straight to KIA. I was so happy to see Bryant, he knows me by name, lol that could be a good thing or a bad thing.. I have been to the service dept, a few to many times lately for my liking. Not just to get our 2013 Optima serviced.. You see this was not the first time our UVO system has gone out. This was our 2nd system in less than a year. I told Braynt what was going on and also about an additional issue that had come up. My car was stalling when I would accelerate, not good when your pulling out onto a busy street with your young grandchildren in the back seat, and you have other cars now coming at you. Bryant, was so understanding and told us he would get this all checked out for us. We went to the showroom, and I was looking for Jacob R, he had sold us our Optima 1 year ago. My husband told him what was going on. Jacob, looked to see if it was would be wise for us to trade it in. No it wasn't financially the best solution for us. My husband told Jacob, how I drive my young grand kids around everyday and it would be really horrible if something horrific happened. We went back to the waiting area and waited to hear from Bryant. Next thing I know in walks Jacob, and wants to talk with us. He says "This is what we are going to do for you guys" He spoke with his managers and and they came up with a plan that would work for all of us. We stepped up into a 2014 Optima, with all the new upgrades and our payment is over $100 less a month. WOW, what a blessing this is.. We were truly blessed by the care we received today by Jacob R, Bryant and Jacob N. We were happy to refer others to Beaverton KIA and Jacob before all of this, and we will continue to let everyone know about the SUPERIOR CARE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE we have gotten here at Beaverton KIA. It is very rare that you find this type of individual care at a dealership this day and age. More

To top it off, as stated, they are a dealership and act accordingly with the concept of service and quality of workmanship at a fare price. I have been there on three separate occasions requiring automotive concern corrections; one not simple or innocuous at all, requiring not only competence but caring and time spent to get the job done correctly. Well, to coin phrase, it is a relief to have an issue addressed "once and done!" Kudos to the whole staff from the Service Mgr, Bryce Moilanen, down the line to and including the techs! More
I just had my new Kia Soul serviced for the first time at Beaverton Kia Service Dept. I am totally pleased with the experience. Service Advisor was Bryant Dwyer who treated me first rate and I was pleased Beaverton Kia Service Dept. I am totally pleased with the experience.
