Manipulated into buying a car I wasn't ready to buy. In retrospect it felt like a manipulation & con job. I wasn't ready to buy a car the day I walked in. When the sales person asked for my license, I told him as much. I said I wouldn't want to take a test drive. Instead of being respected, I got manipulated & conned. There were several points in which I tried to stop the process. I made it clear that I didn't have the money to pay for the car. Instead I was encouraged to move money between accounts. (He even pushed his computer screen towards me to use to make the money transfer) Several times I tried to stop the process & get up to leave but felt manipulated & ganged up on. Ultimately I only have myself to blame. The entire process was traumatic and was NOT ON MY TERMS AT ALL. As a result, I'm now stuck with a financial situation that will risk placing my house on a contractor lien. The money used to buy the car was supposed to go to a contractor 3 days later for some repair on our house. My intent when walking into this dealership was to LOOK and nothing more. I was clear within myself that I was not financially ready to buy the car until February 17th when a bank CD I had was coming due. Instead I was pulled and manipulated into a very unpleasant situation that caused undo financial complications for me. Even if ultimately the car turns out to be a good purchase, it was the PROCESS that stank. It was a huge learning process for me and I will NEVER EVER walk into your car dealership ever again. Nor recommend that as a way to purchase a car. Instead I'll use and recommend Shift. They ask you upfront when you will be ready to actually transact financially and respect what you say. It's the different between being in the drivers seat and being driven somewhere against your will. More

After a week of pushy salespeople trying to get me to buy out of my price range, Beaverton Kia was a breath of fresh air. Allen was kind, considerate, and did not blink at me wanting a used car rather than a out of my price range, Beaverton Kia was a breath of fresh air. New 'used' car for me! Over my driving lifetime (more years than I'll admit to here) I have been the owner of five Toyotas with this one being my sixth; the first automatic Over my driving lifetime (more years than I'll admit to here) I have been the owner of five Toyotas with this one being my sixth; the first automatic and the third RAV4. I would like to thank several people for their assistance at the Beaverton Kia Dealership. Sheridan Hop patiently and pleasantly answered the many questions I posed since my last RAV was a 1999 and the 2015 has been considerably changed regarding the length of the car and the placement of many features inside. Adam very thoroughly explained the financial aspects of the purchase and, though I was not financially able to take advantage of the extended warranty, it seemed to be great. Jonathan Robertson called a few days after I brought the car home which gave me the opportunity to tell him about one issue that was of concern which he promptly turned over to Rob Corder who set up the appointment to rectify the situation. Not only was it taken care of, Rob communicated all through the process regarding the date of the appointment especially including the change of location and time for the work to be done. (Thankfully he stayed on top of all the details!) I am now looking forward to several years of secure and safe driving. Oh, and by the way, the color of the car is super! Isn't that what is said about women buying cars???!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More
