I had a vehicle that I had a really hard time letting go(sentimental value)due to my circumstances(money pit) I had to make the best decision for my vehicle and myself,financially. I did some research on my options by going online and typing in my information needed. Then next day I had 5 emails from different dealers/ sales representatives including phone calls. The one email that stood out was from a Beaverton Kia Sales Representative by the name of Gary Overmyer. His email was not pushy and his voicemails were nice not hype talk. Due to my life schedule,he was patient and stayed on track with my questions,a gentleman.He made time for me with a reserved appointment. I showed up and he was welcoming and walked over kindly and greeted my daughter and I. He was easy going and sure of his own answers to my questions. He gave me every opportunity to look around at my options and he made sure that I took it easy on my decisioning. I felt hope, I felt that he was being realistic and practical about my needs to a new vehicle. He gave me the BEST deal! On my trade in and understood my budget. He gave me time to think and he cared to help me understand the option deals.I plan on a long relationship with Kia and looking forward to negotiate again in the future with Gary Overmyer. I must mention that I felt hopeless after my credited score and low budget. Then he slowly explained my credit score and great advice on how to build it. He was determined to help me in my case and I was very honest about my situation. I am grateful for all that he has made happen for me and my family. I did not feel so alone about my decision. P.S Jake the finance gentleman was great too. He was also patient with me and not afraid to answer my questions. I'm a complexed person and yet Beaverton Kia was my choice because of their effort from the beginning. I talked to 2 other dealers and wow! I felt like I was rushed on the phone and in person I never returned back to them. I'm single parent with one income and Beaverton Kia had faith in me . "Excellent Customer Service " "Thank you Joe De La Rosa" I love the way I was treated with respect and care from Joe. He did go above and beyond to take care of what I was looking for in a vehicle. A really great experience I have credit challenges and I was up front about this when I arrived at Beaverton Kia. Chris Nesseth, my salesman, treated me like that didnt matter and I was the most important thing to him. I have been to dealerships where this is the opposite. That because of my less the desirable credit the dealership is doing me a favor. Chris and the rest of the staff at Beaverton Kia did not have this attitude at all. I love my new Soul and would recommend this dealership to everyone!! More

Worst dealership ever I purchased a car from Beaverton Kia or so I thought. I went car shopping on a Saturday and found myself at Beaverton Kia. Found a car I liked but f I purchased a car from Beaverton Kia or so I thought. I went car shopping on a Saturday and found myself at Beaverton Kia. Found a car I liked but found out I didn't make enough to qualify for how much it was. The salesperson showed me some other cars that were less and I found one I liked. They submitted me again for financing again and this time I was approved. Or so I thought. The paperwork was signed with the agreement that I would get them my proof of insurance and employment early the next week. We also agreed that I would bring them the 10% down payment by a certain date as well. I received a call from someone at the dealership on Tuesday reminding me that they needed the insurance and employment documentation. I called them back on Wednesday and asked if I could email it to them instead of coming out there and was told yes. A few days later I called back to make sure that they had gotten the email and that what I had sent them was fine. Again I was told yes and reminded about bringing in the down payment. By the time the day came for me to bring them the down payment I had been driving the car for 3 weeks and had been in communication with them at least twice since I left the dealership with the car. Upon my arrival at the dealership to pay the down payment I was informed that the financing was not approved and they were taking back the car. I was totally confused as I had been told that the financing was approved before the contract was signed and I left with the car, that I had spoken with and emailed the dealership prior to me coming down and no one said absolutely anything, and I had been driving the car for 3 weeks. I mentioned that since they hadn't mentioned this prior to this I had no way home since this was the only car I had. The response was...wait for it.....that is not our problem. Found out later not only did they put out a request for credit for me to a number of companies they put the request into the SAME company 4 times. Not surprisingly the company denied me to the number of requests. Would not recommend ANYONE go to this dealership. LOL no wonder car dealers have the reputation of being bottom feeders. More

He treated us with encouragement and respect and explained the details and helped us to feel at ease with the whole process. He said it would work out just fine. And we were very excited when we got the word YES!! You have a NEW KIA SOUL!!!! We just LOVE IT! My Husband and I were very impressed with H. Adel and the whole Beaverton KIA Staff. Wow!, your Dealership is different than any I have ever been to. Thank You! For Helping us get our new, KIA SOUL. It is just right for us! Saved a sale with Excellent Customer Service My wife and I were looking at a new car for the first time and decided to look at a soul. Our first trip we spent test driving with a salesperson (not naming them in this review) who once we were done told us we would qualify for certain discounts, rebates, etc., and told us we could get a new soul for a certain price. As we were actually very impressed with the soul, we decided that we would purchase one. We got pre-qualified for a loan, etc., and went back a couple days later, where we dealt with Joe De La Rosa as the initial salesman was off that day. As we proceeded through the process, we found out that the initial number that we were given, as well as the rebates we were told we qualified for, we VERY MUCH incorrect. Upset, we were going to leave and write off the dealership, but Joe and the managers Doug and Joel really went the extra mile by actually listening to us and doing everything they could to quickly rectify the situation and right a wrong. We wish we had worked with Joe from the beginning! He was honest, responsive, and even came in on his day off to finalize everything for us and detail the car. We are extremely happy with the car itself, and Joe has called a couple times to check in on us as well to make sure everything is going well with it. The initial experience we had is the only thing keeping us from giving this dealership a perfect score, and I would recommend to anyone if you are thinking of a Kia to go here and WORK WITH JOE - he took care of us and I have no doubt he will do the same for you! He worked incredibly hard to get me the best price and financing available, and patiently explained things in a way someone unfamiliar with the process could understand. Everyone on staff was very friendly, and I felt that they were genuinely excited to get me into a new- and safe- vehicle. Never once did I feel pushed or talked into anything- I left with exactly what I wanted, and drove away so excited to be in my brand new Kia Soul. More
stared out to be great until we had our first maintenance Leased a car back in April 2014 and at first it was great they helped us find a car we loved and still love and got us set up with a maintenance plan. Leased a car back in April 2014 and at first it was great they helped us find a car we loved and still love and got us set up with a maintenance plan...WHERE WE GET A RENTAL CAR PAID FOR WHEN WE TAKE OUR CAR IN THAT MATCHES OUR 40,000 CAR...(LIARS) & i was suppose to receive a detail with my first oil change...the moment we called back for our first oil change... its went down hill from there..THEY SET UP an oil change with me over the phone, my boyfriend brought the car in to get it changed a couple weeks later on my appointment date... well little did we both know it was being held over night... (it had the car seat still in it that I use for work friday am and saturday am) the man said he would call when it was ready.. well he called FRIDAY NIGHT SAYING IT WASNT GOING TO BE DONE until Tomorrow.. never stated his business hours or any freaking time in either messages when he said It was done.. so saturday after my 12 hour job I sat in traffic for 1.5 hours and at 650-7pm when i arrived it was closed! and i couldn't get in... the rental car that we had was an upgrade that we were paying like 50 extra a day because the one they offered was a low priced nothing quality car... FINALLY SUNDAY I drove their to get my car.. and I WAS PISSED... HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION ECT.. then stepping in my car realizing it was not detailed i WAS LIVID!!!!!!! for the rental car i left it at the front desk with the lady since the service department was closed (i prearranged a pick up) the rental place that dropped off the car was closed and NO WAY IN xxxx WAS I DRIVING BACK OUT AGAIN .... two weeks later they contact us saying we OWE 500 plus dollars because we had it for two weeks... xxx?! I called kia about 5 times to resolve the problem they didn't do crap to help me or even call me back. So i contacted the rental company and explained. ROUND TWO!? i already paid for oil changes and what not in my monthly payment so i went back again... I made an appointment and told them about the detail I never recieved and that I needed a car to be ready since would be 3 or more hours ... had to call and cancel and reschedule due to work obligations... any who My boyfriend brought it back in and NO xxxx CAR WAS READY not to mention they had no detail recorded or oil change!!!!! tire rotation?!!??! FINALLY GOT A CAR freaking box car. whatever we figured it wasn't going to be same match as ours (kia optima 2014 turbo) ...... Finally lol after this all getting it back the detail job was horrible i would never get a detail from them again I COULD HIRE A 10 year old to do it. the vacuumed some areas THAT WAS ABOUT IT!!! Don't suggest this place, will never return or recommend buying or shopping from them or service! Keep in mind before leaving this review i had called and complained and they said they would call back ect. NOPE.... months and months have gone by so truth comes out finally. More
