Thuy- We're very sorry to hear how upset you are about your experience with us. After looking through our inspection paperwork, the inspection by your mechanic, and the CARFAX report, we want to clarify some things. The CARFAX report showed that the vehicle had not been in an accident, but had "other damage", which they state in their report, could be anything from backing into a light pole to weather damage. We had the vehicle inspected prior to sale, and found no evidence of a frame-damaging accident. The bumper had been repaired and painted which was what "other damage" was likely referring to. Greg offered for you to take a 24-hour test drive, which is something we offer so our guests can take the vehicle to their mechanic before they buy. The codes that showed up on your mechanic's diagnostic report were representing any codes that had ever come on in the vehicle, not active sensors that needed to be addressed in the present. CARFAX did not show that the airbags had ever been deployed, so we are not sure where your mechanic was getting this information. We would never knowingly sell an unsafe vehicle to our guests. As far as the restocking fee, this is a policy set up to give our customers the option to return a vehicle after all of the paperwork has been signed and completed, as a symbol of our understanding that things change and sometimes the vehicle just doesn't work out. We will be sending you a check for the difference of the $250 owed and the $300 you gave us. Overall, we feel that we were very transparent with you about the vehicle and offered to let you take the vehicle and have it inspected for your peace of mind before purchasing, but you declined to do that until after the sale. According to our inspections and the CARFAX report, this vehicle was not in an accident and was not unsafe to drive. We were also up front in the paperwork process about the $250 restocking fee in the event you did not want to keep the vehicle. We are very sorry that the vehicle didn't work out for you, and hope you find the right vehicle to fit your needs soon.
