The process was smooth for the most part. My biggest problem was driving my new-to-me car off the lot for a long drive home and learning tat I was out of gas—empty. I do not know the area. I My biggest problem was driving my new-to-me car off the lot for a long drive home and learning tat I was out of gas—empty. I do not know the area. I had a hard time finding a gas station. I was navigating by written instructions on my phone. The car is great. The personnel were happy, helpful and willing to work with my needs. With some caveats I will recommend Beaverton Car Company to family and friends. More
WARNING:::: u will pay a $1000ish fee for a ridiculous gimmick gps / ELO / theft thing AFTER you are ready to buy car. They didn't tell me until the very end which put me out of my budget and I felt very gimmick gps / ELO / theft thing AFTER you are ready to buy car. They didn't tell me until the very end which put me out of my budget and I felt very misled. I am giving them 2 stars because it was easy to come test drive, take to get inspected, and that Raul and Austin were professional. Here’s the story: Looking for a Honda Odyssey and found one at Beaverton Car Company. Contacted the company and talked with Raul and Jeremy via phone and text. Played phone tag with them on Friday. I was already irritated at another car company for springing an unknown $500 fee on me so I should have pressed harder. Jeremy said there were NO EXTRA dealer fees besides the dmv / title fees via text after I asked specifically (see text pix). This pushed me to see the car the next day for a test drive, mechanic inspection. Arrived at Beaverton next morning excited To test drive the van as it looked good. Worked with the new guy Austin who was great and professional. Raul was there too helping out. Signed paper to have car for day and to take to mechanic. Did test drive with Austin. Went good. Took to mechanic and then had wife look at it. We are ready to buy van. Took to upholstery and car body shop to get quotes on body damage as previous owners had scratches, dents on exterior and dog Had scratched up trunk area. Total repairs for everything was 6-7k. I requested only the major ones to fix to be reasonable. I was ready to buy van for their asking price of 1745 and pay dmv/ registration/ title fees of about $585 if they agreed to cover at least some of the major damage. Raul went back to manager (Jeremy) and they Agreed to fix only one thing out of the 10ish I had requested which I reluctantly agreed too since it was a decent deal and I wanted the van and it checked out mechanically. I asked him to break down all fees and he said that there was a mandatory gps fee for a tool they install. I was confused as this fee of $994 was ommitted from my texting conversation with the manager Jeremy. I started to feel very upset and frustrated that this had not bee disclosed to me. I tried hard to get them to remove the ridiculous fee but they wouldn't budget. I stepped outside to cool off and to talk to some people about it. After consultation with some friends who know the car industry and my wife, I decided to reject their proposal on the following grounds: - they had not been up front with me about this mandatory $994 GPS fee (ELOgps) even after I inquired about fees with the manager. I asked specifically about fee's and he did not disclose this - instead of paying 1745 for the van (which was a decent deal I was willing to pay), I was paying $1840 which was not that great of deal - if Jeremy had been honest and up front with me via text, I never would have come as this was over my price point - There was a total of $6-7,000 in exterior body work and interior body work that had been neglected - the transmission fluid was dirty even after they stated on the carfax that it had been changed I was in a rush since I needed to get home to my family so I decided not to stay and argue. I know Raul and Austin were just doing what they were told so I am not upset with them at all as they were fairly professional about it. and not rude or pushy. I would appreciate an apology from Jeremy for the hassle of wasting most of my day/time, lying or not being honest about the mandatory $994 fee for the ELOgps Gimmick, & costing me $100 of my money at my mechanic and basically misleading me. I don't think I was being foolish as I tried to do my due diligence in making sure it was mechanically sound and I tried to be reasonable with them as it was a business transaction where everyone wants a good deal. I hoped this help you! More
I helped my son and daughter in-law purchase a truck at this dealership. Everything went smoothly. Shortly after taking delivery one of the front brake calipers seized up on the truck. We were put in touch this dealership. Everything went smoothly. Shortly after taking delivery one of the front brake calipers seized up on the truck. We were put in touch with Josie the Service Manager and she arranged to have a tow truck come and get the vehicle and they brought it back to the dealership for repair. Beaverton Car Company fixed the problem within a day with no charge. The truck has performed perfectly since then. Many thanks to this dealership for a great experience and an even better experience with handling a mechanical issue after the delivery. More
Do NOT go to this dealership.I write this review to warn everybody to not come here and save yourself the the trouble with the LIES, MISCOMMUNICATION AND SEXISM. I wish I could have bought my car from a dif everybody to not come here and save yourself the the trouble with the LIES, MISCOMMUNICATION AND SEXISM. I wish I could have bought my car from a different place, because the headache they gave me from my experience there was truly not worth it. They lack basic communication, have employees that lie to their customers, and treat women like they know nothing about cars. This was the worst dealership experience I have ever had. It is already intimidating entering a car dealership as a woman due to the extreme sexism, but this dealership was one of the worst. The salesman (who refused to give me his name) who attended me didn’t know anything about the Volkswagen I was looking at it. I asked him to tell me about it he said “Well, its a German car” in a clearly sexist manner. I had been waiting 3 weeks to see the car because they had to fix something with the ignition. I asked him to explain what the problem had been and he told me “ No there wasn’t any problem with the ignition, they were just detailing the car”. But the car was clearly dirty and not detailed, there were pennies and hair on the floor. I had spoken to a salesperson on the phone and had it written in a text from the owner that they were fixing a problem with the ignition but this salesman denied this. The salesman went on to talk badly about all the other car dealerships saying that they didn’t actually check the mechanics of the car. He went on to even name a few dealerships on 82nd street that the believed did this. Later talking with the owner he did the same bad mouthing of other dealerships. Bashing other dealerships does not reflect poorly on them, it reflects poorly on you. Finally I spoke with the sales manager to get the correct information about the car. I ended up buying it because it was exactly what I had been looking for. In our buying agreement it was written in that the car was to be detailed and have the back window re tinted. The manager told me that these would both be done later that day. I returned to pick up the car and it had clearly not been detailed. There was chalk on the backseat that I was able to wipe off with the swipe of my hand and the back window was not re tinted. I had to call and text multiple times for them to finally schedule an appointment for me to go in and have it re tinted at an auto shop, but didn’t tell me the date and time until I had been bothering them about it for a week. The manager of the store told me the re tinting process would take an hour. I show up and the auto body shop employees inform me the process would take all day. I was stranded due to this miscommunication and write this review stranded at said auto body shop. A few months later i was having problems with the reverse and a leakage in the roof. I returned back at the dealership and was told by the owner the whole process would take “a few hours at most”. Over 5 hours waiting and calling incessantly someone finally responded and told me that I couldn’t pick up my car until the next day. I was stranded once more. In the end It took a full day and a half to finally get my car back after calling and texting non stop begging for updates. More

My name is Daniella and I had a great experience! Getting a used car seemed like a risk, but this dealership made it easy. I love my Forester! We went to this place to see a car they were advertising but it wasn't actually ready to be sold or even to see when we got there. So we ended up buying a 2010 Forester with 133K miles for $10,790. They als but it wasn't actually ready to be sold or even to see when we got there. So we ended up buying a 2010 Forester with 133K miles for $10,790. They also told us that we didn't need to get a DEQ inspection but it turns out we did. After buying, I took the car to our very trusted family mechanic and we quickly realized that we got ripped off. Head gasket leak, transmission work, new timing belt etc, no rear wiper blade, no jack or tools, spare tire was completely flat, rear view mirror glue dripping down windshield. Costing us an additional $3,000 with another $2,500 estimate for head gasket replacement when we can afford it. Then comes winter and we find that the heater doesn't work. Flushed out heater core, no change. Turns out someone mixed two different kinds of coolant in this car and it all turned to gel. Now we're looking at another $2,800 for a new radiator and heater core just so we can drive with the windows defrosted and not freeze to death. Sure, this place gives a 90 warranty that says they'll pay 50% of parts and labor for repairs but it has to be with their mechanic. I don't trust their mechanic. They said he goes through every car completely before they sell it so, either he's a terrible mechanic or they knew about all these problems and didn't disclose any of them. Plus, since it's their mechanic they could say that 50% is anything they want. It's a worthless gimmick. I'd stay away from these guys. More
Super easy transaction. Made the daunting process of car buying actually enjoyable. Dealerships need to take notes. It's not overwhelming it just makes sense thanks to TJ and Jeremy! buying actually enjoyable. Dealerships need to take notes. It's not overwhelming it just makes sense thanks to TJ and Jeremy! More
10/22/2020 UPDATE!! The feedback from the owner on my first review is complete hogwash. They didn’t “miss a spot” unless the spot was the whole entire car. Why should I trust them to do the right thing w first review is complete hogwash. They didn’t “miss a spot” unless the spot was the whole entire car. Why should I trust them to do the right thing when they already had two chances to do so? Truly they don’t want to do anything about the issue, just offering lip service to try and keep their name in good standing, but their reputation will catch up with them. They are pawning off lemons to honest people and throwing their hands up when you try and work with them. The car I purchased less than 10 days ago is already going into the shop. Won’t start from the barely 300 miles I’ve put on it. Such quality and customer service from this company, I wouldn’t recommend you do any business with them unless you enjoy being disrespected and cheated. On 10/13/2020 I looked at and purchased a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix. The car was in good mechanical condition but filthy on the interior. I requested to have the car detailed before purchase and was informed the car was cleaned. After being told the car has had a detail over two months ago and they would try to charge me 125$ for a basic detail. The interior looked like they rented the car out or used it as a shop car. So I asked if we could have it detailed anyway. Blake went in the back and asked the boss to have this approved. The car was “detailed” only to have the same exact interior issues be present. Blake at Beaverton car company was my sales rep. Will never buy from these guys again. Lied right to my face even after confronting them. I was told to leave the lot. They don’t care for their customers, only for car sales More
