Wow...indeed. My Beaver 2015 Prius sunroof exploded. On a perfectly clear day driving down the interstate my Prius (54,000 miles) exploded upward, blowing a hole in the sunroof, shattering the glass fro On a perfectly clear day driving down the interstate my Prius (54,000 miles) exploded upward, blowing a hole in the sunroof, shattering the glass from one side of the car to the other and showering me with shards. Nothing hit the car. According to Google reports AND the service staff at Beaver, this is not the first time this has happened with Toyota sunroofs. But replacement of the sunroof is neither covered under my Toyota warranty or my very expensive purchased extended warranty. The sunroof is not an item up for recall. So too bad for me. Clearly this is a failure of the Toyota product, and neither Toyota or its affiliates are willing to take any responsibility. Bottom line: any Toyota vehicle with a sunroof is unsafe to drive at any time, and Beaver Toyota could care less as long as their money ($860) in this case) is in hand. And no guarantees a NEW sunroof would not randomly explode either. Very sad; this Prius is my 9th and last Toyota, as I can no longer trust either the brand or the dealer. More

We came to Toyota and Doug Miller took the car in and had the problem fixed. He also told us about two recalls and had it corrected. we saved about 500.00 coming to Toyota!! Doug Miller is very professional, knowledgeable and polite. Overnight our car stopped starting. We could not understand. Called AAA. He could not tell the reason Had the car towed to Beaver. Thomas Fallon immediately diagnosed and asked us to leave the car for an hour and a half and pick up the car. Within the time frame, our car was ready to be picked up.
