Much appreciated since I has headed over to panhandle to visit family. Robert's service was 5.0 across the board. My issue was/is with Management and transparency of parts pricing. After comparing parts prices on Toyota Nation and 3 local dealers ( Daytona and Jacksonville) it is clear that Beaver Toyota charges ~20-25% above MSRP while the other 3 Dealers ~10-15% below MSRP for the same OEM part listed on Toyota Nation. I verified this by review parts charged during service from 2019 forward. When I provided Robert with my info he had the charges reduced to MSRP which I appreciate but still doesn't explain managements decision to charge 20-25% above MSRP. At least on new cars prices Beaver is clear on markup above MSRP and added Dealer cost. Parts markup 20-25% above MSRP is hidden. Other local dealrer deal with the same supply chair and inflation issues but are below MSRP. I guess we have to pay for the WOW factor, More
My car wouldn’t start and they sent someone to try to start it…they checked the car for two hours and found nothing wrong with it …didn’t charge me for the time they spent. I had a very positive experience with your service department. Chad was my service person. I had been to Old City Tire Outlet where I went to get a tire patched from a screw that caused a flat tire. department. Chad was my service person. That bad tire place wanted me to buy 4 new tires that I had never heard of, some off brand tires. They told me that I should not drive off or my other tires could have a blow out. I did leave. I drove down to Firestone tire, and told the service guy my tire saga. That nice and knowledgeable Firestone person, suggested I go out to Beaver Toyota as my Lexus SUV is part of Toyota. From the moment I entered the service department at Beaver Toyota, I had a completely different experience. Chad was very knowledgeable and professional. He had his service people inspect all 4 tires. Upon completion, Chad explained all of my options. I did need two new tires. Eventually I would need two more. I decided to go with the 4 new tires, because if I bought 3 tires, I would get the 4th for free. Also, I would have lifetime alignment included in the warranty. All in all, I realized the tires I bought from Beaver Toyota were far superior.! I am in California and don’t have the tire information with me. I think they are GoodYear.
