I started online, and then went to visit Robert, with my neighbor David Andersen, who had already purchased a Beaver Toyota, and was so pleased with it. Robert answered our needs. We test drove a couple Prius vehicles and then waited over the weekend to make my decision. I'm happy that my purchase made Robert Nolen salesman of the month. More

Paid a bit more for a used car, but worth it! My experience with Beaver Toyota was good. The used Corolla I purchased was in good condition but they didn’t want to give me any warranty. After disc My experience with Beaver Toyota was good. The used Corolla I purchased was in good condition but they didn’t want to give me any warranty. After discussing this, the salesman Aspen Leaf did give me 30 days, which is all I was asking for. The car was priced about $400 over the blue book (which was disclosed on the sticker) and I think it was because I had less than good credit, they would not move on the price. They initially were going to finance me at a ridiculous rate of 29%, but after discussing that, they lowered it to 15%. Still very high, but my credit was bad, so I felt it was an acceptable rate given the circumstances. It did not come with floor mats which I thought was strange and after discussing this; Aspen gave me a new set at no charge. The best thing about it is that it’s been over a year now and the car is still running perfectly. I have had absolutely no problems at all with it. About 6 months ago I noticed that the paint on the top in a small area near the antenna was showing the beginning signs of rust and could tell it had been painted over some slight damage, which I was not aware of when I bought it. I went in and even after 6 months of owning it, they took it in and repainted the area at no charge. I have twice received a coupon for a $9.99 oil change and when it was finished, they had washed the car and cleaned the interior at no extra charge. This is a very important customer service plus for Beaver. Going back, at settlement, they wanted to sell me extra insurance which would pay the difference between the loan value and the actual value of the car. It started at $700 but after discussing this, it went down to $500 which was included in my loan. After calling my insurance company, they did confirm that such insurance is a good idea in case the car is totaled, but said the price was very steep. My insurer also said however that they could not provide me with such insurance because the car was used and that they could only provide this extra insurance on a new car and the cost would be about $200. For those who don’t know, this insurance pays off the loan if the car is worth less than what is owed on it. While I paid a premium for the car and the extra insurance, it makes up for the fact that I have had no problems with the car. My previous used car not purchased from Beaver gave me trouble nearly every other month which cost me thousands of dollars in repairs in just the one year I had it. If fact it broke down the day after I bought it and I was stranded in Gainesville for a day and missed the ball game I went there for. Having a car that is trouble free is a piece of mind that is worth every dollar I paid for it. Another great thing is that Aspen is a no bull salesman. He does not come across as a used car salesman and gives you the facts. He was upfront about my credit and said it like it was and in paraphrasing he said, “You have bad credit but I’m going to get you into a car you can afford to make the payments on”. That’s exactly what he did. I will not hesitate to buy my next car from Beaver Toyota and I will ask for Aspen Leaf when I do. More
WARNING! Crooked Dealership. Dishonest! PLEASE READ I recently purchased a used truck from this dealership. The truck was in very nice condition except for a very noticeable vibration it had during the I recently purchased a used truck from this dealership. The truck was in very nice condition except for a very noticeable vibration it had during the test drive. The salesman insured me that there was nothing wrong with the truck. He also told me that the tires were in great shape. We agreed on a price and I was given a "We Owe You" document that stated the vibration would inspected and fixed as needed. So I agreed to this and I purchased the truck. After getting home with the truck I had the tires inspected at a local tire center. There I learned that all four tires were bad and the cause of the vibration. I contacted the salesman about this who told me they were not going to put new tires on my truck. I reminded him of the "We Owe You" document and was later contacted by the service department manager who told me that they would not be replacing my bad tires because when the service department inspected the truck they notified the sales department of the bad tires. He further told me that the salesman should've never told me that the tires were good. After complaining about this to the service manager they have decided that they will put used tires on my truck. I explained that this was unacceptable. So at this point I still have a truck with a vibration. The salesman knew about this prior to selling me this truck yet never told me about this. NEVER AGAIN WILL I DEAL WITH DEALERSHIP. I will certainly spread the word of their dishonest practice. More
