Our 2012 Rav4 was less than a week old and we had the unfortunate experience of filling up with BAD gas which eventually caused the check engine light/4WD light & TRAC light to come on. The car started to sputter & lurch and could not get above 20MPH before it started stalling. We called Toyotacare and arranged to have the car towed into ST. Augustine Toyota. At the same time we frantically called St. Augustine Toyota to tell them the car was being towed in and we kept our fingers crossed that it would get there by 6PM before service closed. I talked to Bob who seemed to think that if the car was here, then they could look at it and probably have it fixed that morning. He was very kind in that he indicated that he did not think that it was the 4WD system but probably something small like a sensor. That made me sleep better. The next day, my husband called, talked to Joe who gave him the news that we had gotten bad gas!! They then proceeded to drain the fuel tank and clean out the system. We picked the car up by late morning and Dave gave my husband a sample of the bad gas so we could go back to the gas station with it. It was clear that there was something wrong with the gas as it was separating and there was debris in the container. Both Joe and Dave told us to bring the car back if there was any problem. We drove the car for a couple of hours and the lights came back on. Back we went to Service where Dave apologized as he thought he had gotten everything but apparently the car had misfired which set the lights off again. He rechecked the car again, reset the lights, etc. and so far we have been driving the car without a problem. Given the amount of sledge in the sample gas, Dave did a fantastic job cleaning out the system and I am so happy that the car seems to be running fine. THANK YOU THANK YOU ST AUGUSTINE TOYOTA - we thought our brand new RAV4 was ruined but as of today it seems to be running perfectly fine. Not only did you fix our car but my husband found you very helpful and responsive to our needs -- as this is our only car, we needed the problem identified and the car fixed as soon as possible. YOU GUYS DID A GREAT JOB and we could not have asked for you to have done anything differently. Thank you again. More

I purchased a 2010 toyota camry in nov. 2009 and was not informed of the major recall that was out in sept. 2009. Since the purchase of this vehicle I have been lied to by several employees and managers, q informed of the major recall that was out in sept. 2009. Since the purchase of this vehicle I have been lied to by several employees and managers, quoted a price and then when work was done they came up with another inflated price. This dealership is NO GOOD, I DON'T RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!!! I will NEVER buy a vehicle from them again!! If you don't want headaches and lies stay away from this dealership. More
