after last minute being without a car, i figured it was time to go out and buy something from a dealership for the first time. something more reliable. after hearing good news in general around town for Be time to go out and buy something from a dealership for the first time. something more reliable. after hearing good news in general around town for Beaver Toyota, i gave it a go! this was a first for me buying a car, so i am sure most people can imagine how stressful that might be, but Torie Benoit, my dealer, did her best to keep me cool calm and collected when making such a big decision for my life. she exceeded all expected standards by truly making sure i was completely happy with my final purchase, and made it fast and simple! i would highly recommend anyone in the northeast florida region to consider buying their next car from Torie Benoit, for i assume they will be just as happy as me that they did! I found this car through research on-line using the US News site. 3 dealerships within our area were presented. I had sworn to myself, due to previous experience @ this location, NOT to use them! I was given 3 estimates on-line...Beaver Toyota being slightly better. I did e-mail all of the suggested contacts @ each dealership, again expecting a drive to Daytona. Aspen (and Joshua) both responded by e-mail quickly. They were definitely interested in what I wanted exactly, were intelligent in their e-mails and basically made me an offer pretty quickly. It was good. I was conflicted..."these guys will tell you anything" sort of feeling. My husband suggested that because it was a new dealership we should not rule them out and give them a try. After all, they are right down the street so to speak. I will tell you that the other 2 respondents basically said "call me". To be fair they did give me an estimate but of the trim level I was not interested in ( and I had been specific in my e-mail about my wants). We did visit the Beaver Toyota in St. Aug on Saturday morning, having arranged an appt with Aspen. It was truly the best car-buying experience we have had. In addition to meeting Aspen and looking @ a few options we settled on a little nicer vehicle than initially planned. Aspen was low-key, knowledgeable about his product, and LISTENED to us. I would buy a car from him again and so would my husband. We met many more newcomers to St Augustine that this dealership had relocated. (something we had not heard of before). Their philosophy was offered to us by several of the associates that we met there and we were just so pleasantly surprised. Everyone was wonderful. We had done research and knew we were getting a fair price and are quite pleased. We wish every success to this new business. We are so glad that we didn't avoid them because of previous experience. We certainly would have regretted it. More
Frank Harrington 111, We were on vacation and the check engine light & VSC. We called and told us come in at noon and was greeted by Frank, who made us feel like family. He showed us the waiting area and the dealership offers free sandwiches if you happen be around for service + coffee. Everyone is so friendly and will go out of their way to help. After awhile the technician (Brien) came out with the results of the test and gave us some suggestions and the BEST WAY to fix our (2007 Toyota Sienna) . We were on vacation and they went out of their way to get us back on the road, I was in the service end of the business for 30+ years and recognize GREAT SERVICE. Beaver Toyota is a great dealership, if we didn't live 275 miles away I know where we would buy our next Toyota, no doubt in our minds. I went to St Augustine Toyota yesterday ( jan 22, 2013) for a simple transaction, namely, to end a lease on my Camry and to purchase that same car. I had made anadvance appointment, and indicated exactly w for a simple transaction, namely, to end a lease on my Camry and to purchase that same car. I had made anadvance appointment, and indicated exactly what I wanted to do. My experience was very depressing and distressing. 1) It took 3 1/2 hours to do this simple task. 2) the finance people deliberately slowed the process, wearing out the customer as much as possible, and hoping that I would buy something new. Some 2 1/2 hours into the process, they rolled out a new car and created a new offer. 3) The finance people kept up the adolescent and stupid maneuver of running in and out of their glass cages, coming back with ever-new calculations, and whispering among themselves as they strategized about the next step. 4) By the end of the period, my wife and I were not only worn out, but we felt absolutely used and manipulated. I will never again do business with this dealer, and I will spread the word of my deeply negative experience. Harry More

In addition, Alex was able to locate a particular auto we wanted and have it in stock for us the next day even though it had to come from out of state.
