Exceptional! From the purchase to service was nothing less than exceptional. My wife came in to get the oil changed and she was given a snack bag and lunch! Do Not use Beaver I'm a big car guy (probably owned about 30-40 over the years) and my father and grandfather were both GM engineers in Detroit. I have been dealing wit I'm a big car guy (probably owned about 30-40 over the years) and my father and grandfather were both GM engineers in Detroit. I have been dealing with dealerships my whole life and my experience at Beaver Chevrolet has been the worst in all my years. I took my truck to Beaver Chevrolet 4 times within a month because of a transmission shudder and it is still not right. I initially dropped it off on 9/15/19 at night and the next morning called to make sure they had it and were going to assess it. I was assigned a service advisor, Evan Shade. I left multiple messages for Evan throughout the day to find out the assessment. I never received a call back. So on my way home from work, I stopped by and spoke with Brett Morgan. He told me he would take care of me. He spoke with Evan and asked why he didn't return my call. Evan outright lied and said he left a message for me. I showed my phone to Mr. Morgan and we agreed no missed calls or message from Beaver. I got a loaner that night and I waited a week for ANY feedback on my truck. No calls from Evan. No calls from Brett Morgan. So I called and left a message for Evan. Then called two additional times. During my third message for Evan I said that he had had my truck for a week and if I didn't hear from him that day I would be calling Chevrolet. Evan got back to me and said "You're next in line." I got my truck back two days later and the shudder was still there. I returned 3 additional times for the same issue. The last (and absolute final time I will EVER go to Beaver Chevrolet) was 10/7/19 when I returned it again for the same problem. I drove with their "transmission guy" who could feel the shudder but wasn't sure the cause and they gave me another loaner. As of 10/14/19 we hadn't heard a word from Evan or anyone at Beaver so my wife called at 3pm and was directed into Evan's voicemail where she left a message requesting an update on our truck. Her call was not returned. The next day on 10/15 she called at 3pm and spoke to the receptionist and explained that Beaver had had our truck for over a week now and we didn't know if it had been looked at, a part ordered, or anything. The woman said she would take a note directly to Evan to have him call back but that if we didn't hear before 6pm to call back. At 5;30pm my wife called again and said she hadn't heard back from Evan. Christina, the receptionist, apologized and put her on hold for Evan. After being on hold for Evan for 15minutes, my wife called Beaver on our other line. Christina apologized again and said she would walk over and tell Evan my wife was still holding. After 22 minutes on hold the line rang and then went into Evan's voicemail. My wife called Christina back and asked what happened. Christina said that Evan had said to send him the call. She hadn't realized he was going to then put my wife into his voicemail. Christina took down our contact info again and said to expect a call. A few minutes later a man called stating he was James Venson and Evan's boss. Unfathomably, he had no idea whether or not our truck had even been looked at. When asked if there was any documentation in their computer system he said that sometimes they put it in sometimes they don't. He said Evan was with a customer and that the tech who was assigned to the truck had left for the day at 4;30p.m. We were furious. James apologized and said he would wait on the phone with us until Evan was done with his customer. The elusive Evan finally got on speaker phone and said that while the shudder was present, it was within all of GM's tolerances so they couldn't tell what was actually causing the shudder. They recommended picking it up and if it gets worse or the transmission completely fails come on back and we will replace it. Yes, Beaver Chevrolet, we were WOWED, wowed at the compete lack of customer service at all levels of management in a dealership that we have ever experienced in our lives. More
