Getting a new car is usually a stressful and frustrating experience, but I was pleased with my experience here. I had a very good experience with Matt. I knew what model I was looking for and Matt ask and answered my questions to satisfaction. My ratings are for Anthony and Corey. Anthony was awesome....very pleasant, patient, low pressure and informative. He was also very open and forthright with his answers to questions about the financing options. When we finally managed to get the financial details worked out, Corey was great too....very pleasant, very honest, very forthright. HOWEVER....There was another man involved in the "write up" of the estimated deal and financing options whose name I don't remember (and interestingly whose picture doesn't appear on any of the name links above) but I believe he was the new car sales manager. He was extremely rude and high pressure in his approach to us. He was the sterotypical guy that gives the "car salesman" a bad rap. Honestly, if it hadn't been for Anthony's great attitude, we would've walked out after this other guy got involved in the whole thing. He kept only offering financing options that involved money down, even though we knew there were 0% down options. He was sarcastic and condescending. As soon as he got involved, the process of purchasing a car ground to a halt and we ended up waiting and waiting around for hours. It was only when I insisted that this other man include the breakdown of ALL financing options did he finally return with the requested information. I felt like we got the "good cop/bad cop" routine, which was very insulting. Because of the bad feeling that this left us with, we seriously considered returning the next day and canceling the transaction. The dealership should be aware of the negative impression this gentleman leaves with customers. It was sufficiently negative that I would hesitate to purchase my next car at this dealership, even despite my positive experiences with Anthony and Corey. I am very pleased with my Altima coupe, and will definitely keep Nissan in mind for future car purchases, but the jury is still out on whether or not I would return to this particular dealership as long as this other man is involved in the purchasing process. My question is... where do I start! This dealership has gone above and beyond the call of duty. We bought our first new 2004 Maximaa at Beau Townsend, from that point forward they have proven their credib gone above and beyond the call of duty. And this past week I had the pleasure/luxury to trade in my dear 2004 Maxima (192,000 miles)for a 2009 Maxima you'd swear is a 2012. Actually went there to buy a Titan pick up for my husband but, because of the fantastic salesmanship of Jeff Cooley and Clyde Mason I drove away with a gorgeous 2010 Titan pick up too! Never did I feel pressured to buy, Jeff worked patiently with me until I felt satisfied then Clyde came through with a great deal. Their professionalism was excellent and I recommend anyone looking for a vehicle to give Beau Townsend Nissan a chance to put you into a "fully inspected used" or new vehicle. As for the ongoing service of your vehicle Nissan has the best commendable service I've experienced. Matt has worked with me in a friendly manner but very professional and I'd put this dealership above any service dept around. They have a very friendly staff and waiting area as well. There were some issues with delivery, but Chad's customer service skills washed out any negative. Our experience at Nissan keeps us coming back year after year. Everyone from the service department to the sales employees are so friendly and considerate. We have leased our last 2 Nissan's from Mike Mye year. Everyone from the service department to the sales employees are so friendly and considerate. We have leased our last 2 Nissan's from Mike Myers and will probably lease or buy another vehicle from him. He is a superb sales person, no high pressure sales, and he is very knowledgeable about every model on the lot. He is very efficient, putting us in a model that suits our lifestyle and budget. While we waited for the papers to be finished, all the staff stopped and talked with us. We remember some of them from years past, so we feel almost like family while there. We had our twin granddaughters with us and one of the salesman stopped in the finance office and gave them a box of chocolate covered pretzels, which is their favorite treat. We would highly recommend Beau Townsend Nissan, and we love, love, love our Nissan Quest. More
