I drove from Cincinnati to Vandalia and back twice that day for this car and I can say that I'm really glad I did. I didn't get any unbelievable deals, but the price was fair and in this game that's better than I ever expected to do. Justin Rash was friendly and very patient with me while I requested every available piece of documentation under the sun for the Certified Fusion that I ended up purchasing. Kevin Berger found financing through my own bank and I didn't have to do a thing but sign for it. My only complaint: Seven days after I purchased my car, the battery was dead and I was stranded. Annoying, to say the least (and not covered by the Certified warranty, but at least it's a cheap fix). I'm glad it wasn't anything major but I feel like a 172-point inspection should probably include a glance at the battery, no? Regardless, my experience with this dealership was the best I have ever had and I will head back up to Vandalia when I am in the market for a new car. More

I had talked to Mike Schmidt on the phone about some cars on Friday or Saturday and he was very pleasant on the phone going over some fiqures. My wife and I decided to drive up to Vandalia Sunday afternoon to test drive a Focus and a Fusion. We really like the 2012 Fusion SEL (especially the interior)and decided to test drive a 2013 Ford Focus also after driving the Fusion. Even though Mike was the salesman we were dealing with, we talked, at lenghth (15 minutes), after driving the Fusion initially, to another salesman, Mark Lindenauer, while Mike was finishing up with another customer. He is the one that set us up on the test drive of the 2013 Focus. He was very professional and courteous even though he knew we would probably be purchasing a car from Mike Schmidt. That's impressive, and says a lot about the dealership. We made our decision to purchase the 2012 Ford Fusion SEL and that's when we met with your financial man, Kevin Berger. He, also, was very professional and got us on the way through the transaction quickly. After this process, we spent some time going over the necessay things about the car with Mike. During this process, we also met you tech man, Justin Jacobs, who helped Mike and us with setting up the Ford Sync with my smart phone. Beau Townsend Ford in Vandalia, OH should be very proud of these employees we were so lucky to have met during our buying experience. Here comes Paul, he states to us that he has an MKS on the used lot that was one owner and had low mileage. The MKS is a beefed up Taurus per Paul. We test drove the car and wrote up the deal. Excellent communication. Mike in finance is also very friendly and personable. On Sunday we returned to the dealership and Tim Peffley helped us put our cell phones into the system in the MKS. Tim did not know us but Paul asked him to help us out and he did it very willingly. Absolute great customer service. Thank you to all who were involved in our visits. More
