I recently purchased a 2010 Ford F-150. It was my 2nd Certified used truck that I purchased from Beau Townsend. The first one was a great little truck, so I thought I'd try another one. The certified used trucks are really the way to go, it's like buying it new. My salesman Paul Riedel really new the features of the truck and worked with Management to get me a good deal on the truck as well as a fair price on my trade in. I drove into the lot and 2 hours later I was driving my new truck home. From start to finish the service was great. This truck will last me awhile, but I will look up Paul Riedel and Beau Townsend in the future the next time I am ready for a new car or truck. Thanks guys for all your help. More
After getting the run around in Cincinnati I decided to expand my search. After seeing the large quantity of Fusions "on lot" at Beau, (71 to be exact) I used the website on the Ford pages official email expand my search. After seeing the large quantity of Fusions "on lot" at Beau, (71 to be exact) I used the website on the Ford pages official email system to request information about three VIN's that matched exactly what I was looking for which up until that point proved to be a bit of a unicorn. Jeanine got back to me very promptly (within an hour) and by my preferred method of communication (email, as I work in a lab almost all day and not near a phone). A few emails back and forth and a price was quoted (fair) and an appointment made to come see the car. They assured me that they moved the car out of the general viewing area as I was picky about how many miles would be on it. I was then handed off to Justin to complete the sale as I was unable to make the early closing time on day one. Day two I got up to Vandalia and met Justin who did great and handled my suspicious nature without a hiccup. He understood my desire to get in and out and made it happen. Also after I we discussed numbers (trade in) and financing (I had already pre-approved myself for zero percent through Ford financing) Justin asked if it would be ok to run other options in financing since my down payment was larger than usual. I was doubtful and reluctantly agreed as my wife said it couldn't hurt. Kevin was my FI guy and walked me through the options. He showed me how even though zero was a good option, the large down payment accompanied by the available rebate (either or with zero percent) made paying interest a lower payment. He didn't push or force a direction. He was patient while I crunched my own numbers (knowing they also make money off of financing) but in the end, he was right and I was appreciative of the options presented and him being patient while I worked through it with my suspicious nature. I was very pleased with how the whole transaction went. The large inventory coupled with the quick to the point negotiation made it well worth the hour plus drive from Cincinnati to Vandalia. I would do it again and my dad is also contemplating purchasing another vehicle and easily recommend Beau to him. Car purchasing can be a painful process (and on the other side a thankless job). Beau exceeded my expectation and now I happily own a new Ford. More
I had not planned to purchase a vehicle that day I went to the dealership. I only went to my appointment because it was to late to cancel. I had visited another dealership the weekend before and had a very unpleasant experience after sitting for 4 hours and being told they would call me on Monday I was disillusioned with the process of getting a new car. I appreciated that Arash kept me informed of what was going on every step of the way and it only took a cpouple of hours. I felt that he advocated for me to be able to get the car that I wanted. I have shared my experience with my co-workers and family and suggested they all go see him if they are thinking about getting a new or used car. More

Larry Dorman was very professional and attentive to our requests. We test drove 7 vehicles and Larry was great in having the next one ready for us each time we returned to the lot. Brian Hart was very thorough and knowledgeable while explaining the features of the MyFordTouch system. He made sure all of our questions were answered. We took delivery of our car on a dark, rainy evening. Afterward, we discovered a scratch on the right rear bumper that someone had tried to paint over. When we showed the scratch to Larry Dorman and Joey Beckett, they paged the new car sales manager, but he did not come out to talk to us. At that point, Joey assured us that the bumper would be repaired to our complete satisfaction. Joey went above and beyond in handling all aspects of getting the scratch repaired. He went out of his way in providing us with a loaner car and contacted us several times with progress reports during the repair. He personally inspected the repair before notifying us that the car was ready to pick up. Beau Townsend Ford is fortunate to have outstanding professionals such as Larry, Brian, and Joey. More
