they love taking advantage of people took my truck up there to get transmission checked out . they said it's ok they believe it's the coil . they said to get it fixed I would be looking a took my truck up there to get transmission checked out . they said it's ok they believe it's the coil . they said to get it fixed I would be looking at $300 + to fix it. calling around other places that said they would do it for average of 100 - 200. when I called beau back they said that price that beau gave me did not include labor so within a hour there priced jumped higher. what's funny is there commercial say's we care bout the customer's. they should change it to we care about the wallet .have you ever noticed that the Facebook for beau has never had any bad reviews but yet the sites they cant control do have bad reviews . maybe if they would allow honesty to be said then maybe they would be bit more trusted . New Explorer Experience After shopping online and discovering that Beau Townsend Ford had the item we wanted to look at we went to the dealership to check it out. With my si After shopping online and discovering that Beau Townsend Ford had the item we wanted to look at we went to the dealership to check it out. With my sister and my daughter both owning 2015 Explorers and my brother owning a 2015 Edge I pretty much knew what we wanted. My wife and I walked into the showroom and the first person to ask if they could help was Cindy Townsend Wood. I indicated we wanted to look at a Bronze Fire Explorer Limited. With Cindy's help, two hours later we drove home with our new Explorer Limited. The overall experience was excellent. The purchase process with Ken Emrick was quick and Cindy's tour of the facility was informative and appreciated. The last purchase we made from Beau Townsend was in 1995 buying a new Aerostar Conversion Van which we drove for 12 years and 240,000 miles. Our experience then was excellent and we're looking forward to the same with this purchase. More

The Beau Townsend website was extremely easy to navigate and very informative. Their online inventory was accurate and matched what was on the lot. I appreciated the online photos of the actual vehicle instead of generic stock photos. The typical high pressure tactics used by some dealerships was not the case at Beau Townsend Ford. Very professional and knowledgeable employees and staff! Josh Otstot & Ken Emrick were awesome to work with once we decided which truck we wanted. This was my 4th purchase from Beau Townsend Ford and honestly can't imagine shopping anywhere else. More

I basically bought the car over the phone without having to go in and spend hours. There was no long drawn out "game" of me sitting there. I think so deanships have a battle of wits to see if they can win. Not Beau Townsend. I honestly can't imagine going anywhere else in the future. Easy, quick, and done! More
Newer Car Upgrade Where to begin? In early April, while searching Autotrader, I found a listing for an 2010 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer at Beau Townsend Ford. Being a new Where to begin? In early April, while searching Autotrader, I found a listing for an 2010 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer at Beau Townsend Ford. Being a new listing, no pictures of this vehicle were posted. I promptly called the next morning and began a conversation with Jason Pemberton. Jason assured me this was a very nice vehicle but didn't know all the specifics yet, as it just came in on trade. Jason then advised I talk with George Davell. Having not been through the service dept., I was told the vehicle would have EVERYTHING fixed before being put on the lot. My wife and I made the trip to Vandalia to look at the car, and were impressed with the vehicle. Jason and George neither one lead us on, the explorer showing exactly as described. This explorer might be five years old, but I guarantee a New car could not show any nicer. Being the exact car we were searching for with the rare color combination and options, we agreed to purchase the vehicle upon completion of service. All of this at a very fair price. A few days later, George called saying the vehicle was serviced and ready. My wife and I made a second trip to Vandalia and ultimately purchased this vehicle knowing a few items needed attention yet when ordered parts arrived. After having the Explorer home for a few days, a couple additional items came to my attention. When George called to schedule installation of parts, I advised of new concerns, and was answered with the remark George always gave. "No Problem, We'll Take Care Of That" I know I rattled on, but I can not say enough how impressed we are with the professionalism in which we were treated. Buy no means is Beau Townsend Ford a small dealership, but my wife and I felt like we were the only customer on the lot at any trip we made. Thank You Jason from the initial phone call, George for all the personal time you gave us, and Mike for getting us through the paperwork quickly. More
