Battle of Murfreesburo Special Thanks to Mickey Dolan..My Name is Lanny and i'm a 64 year old former auto auctioneer and sales person...Tough to trade with, Hard to Please, Special Thanks to Mickey Dolan..My Name is Lanny and i'm a 64 year old former auto auctioneer and sales person...Tough to trade with, Hard to Please, Our story begins with me stopping by the dealership when a chevy Suburban caught my eye...the salesman approached and Nicely asked to help me, I said no thanks I thought this was a Tahoe, He said "let me check the dealers site and see if they can find you one, I thought this was very professional and my hunt was serious so I said ok that would be nice Mickey,..He took the time to use the dealer locator and found me a GMC Yukon , an upgrade from the tahoe ....He said " I can have it here by 6pm again very professional I said ok Mickey Ill see you then...I returned to the dealership to view the Yukon, we took it for a drive and it seemed like just what I needed..... but the Price in My Mind was way off the Money... So I offered 5000 less than the special sale price... MIckey had a heart attack and fell out on the floor....after he caught his breath he agreed to take a slightly higher price to Mike, the manager on Duty, Back and forth back and back and forth till almost closing, so I left without a sale that night, Both Mike and Mickey thought I was a complete wanna be car buyer and thanked me but said no deal we are too far apart, after all i showed up in my 97 Chevy with my dog in the front offering Cash !!! Yeah Right ...This guys gotta be a flake, However they treated me with respect and both were very professional even though I was on there Last nerve....So I left....Knowing I was close to the rock bottom by getting kindly walked out...Now I know Im in good shape so I called and went back the following day for round 2 !!!...But now I'm armed with real numbers and after haggling with Mickey I said Bring Mike in here (There Manager) and let me get eye ball to eye Ball with him.....after a healthy strong debate he offered to come down just a bit more.....a good time was had by all on this Halloween And I left with a beautiful Car, Perfect for my Needs and Let me tell you I put them guys through xxxx and got it done, through it all no matter how tough I was with them they remained Professional...Good Job Mickey Dolan and Mike...for getting it done under the worse of conditions and making Me a very Happy Guy....After That they sent two drivers to deliver my car to me.. all Pro...all class win win win for all....Thanks and Good job from the toughest Buyer on the Planet.......Lanny Parkhurst More
