Vehicle break down,expedient service Bought Used Ford F-150 from Freeman Ford, Liberty,NC. Vehicle delivered Oct 26th. Drove to Garden City,SC on Oct 27th. Started back home October 30. W Bought Used Ford F-150 from Freeman Ford, Liberty,NC. Vehicle delivered Oct 26th. Drove to Garden City,SC on Oct 27th. Started back home October 30. Was in drive thru at Wendy's,, Murrells Inlet, SC. Vehicle d.ied.. No power what so ever. Towed to Beach Ford, Myrtle Beach .They found problem around 3:00PM. Notified me of what they found. Very nice to work with. Everybody very friendly. Good experience. More

Rescued us during hurricane evacuation My wife and I are senior citizens and had booked a Myrtle Beach vacation for Oct 4-11, 2016. After we'd gotten off I-95 from NJ and onto SC38 the left My wife and I are senior citizens and had booked a Myrtle Beach vacation for Oct 4-11, 2016. After we'd gotten off I-95 from NJ and onto SC38 the left rear tire of our F-150 was punctured by something I never saw on the road but heard as it was thrown up into the wheelwell. I re-inflated the tire at the first gas station we got to (for $3 worth of air) after emptying a can of Fix-a-Flat into it, but by the time we got to Rt501 the dashboard menu was alerting me that the tire was going flat again. Another gas station, another $1.50 worth of air and then we spotted a local store of a nationally-advertised automotive tire and service chain, so we stopped to get our flat fixed. As soon as I mentioned that the puncture was easy to find because the Fix-a-Flat was spitting out of it between the tread, the young-enough-to-be-my-grandson manager told me that "We don"t touch anything that's had Fix-a-Flat in it, but I can sell you a new tire." As a senior citizen on a fixed income, I can't afford to toss away a $180 tire with only 1500 miles on it, which simply needs to be patched, and buy another one simply because someone who gets paid to work on tires doesn't want to get messy. Steamed at the lack of empathy/initiative I received at the F store, we got more air in the tire and got into town and checked into our timeshare, resolving to deal with the flat the next morning. We awoke to beautiful weather Weds 10/5 and the pleasant surprise that the tire was retaining enough pressure now to drive on it, so I Googled the nearest Ford dealer with their Quicklane Service dept like I use at home, and set out for Beach Automotive Group. On our arrival between 10 and 11AM we were informed that they were closing at noon due to a mandatory evacuation order in response to an approaching Hurricane Matthew, and that all businesses in the area would be doing the same. As I explained my situation I was treated with a level of empathy and concern by Loretta, who wrote my service order, that made me feel like I was actually a friend or family member. My tire was patched and we were on the road again in a scant half hour with the peace of mind that our truck was safe for travel. Good thing: we returned to our timeshare resort and were told that we had to vacate the premises because they were shutting off all the utilities and evacuating. I highly recommend The Beach Automotive Group's Quicklane Service Dept for their unexcelled level of customer service, and I'll be back every time I'm in the area, if only to say "Hello!" More
