They were trying to have us use their finance (which is their business move btw) and we kept saying no. This guy (I wouldn’t even include his name) basically said I wasn’t approved because I’m way too young and my credit was “LOW” when my bank already APPROVED me without a co-signer and I’m literally 22. 🤣 They already got my information (including my ssn) and all they needed to do was let us take the car home since I really wanted that car. I guess they just lost another customer today. If ya’ll got good experience with them, that’s awesome. I didn’t and I would not recommend for you guys to go there. It’s a rip off. More
Do not waste your time at Elmore Toyota. I went in with all the intent of purchasing a certain Corolla. I saw the advertised price, test drove it, and then talked numbers. Price wasn’t what I went in with all the intent of purchasing a certain Corolla. I saw the advertised price, test drove it, and then talked numbers. Price wasn’t what I wanted so I left and decided to wait for Labor Day weekend, even though the assistant sales manager, Raul Delgado, assured me it was already on Labor Day sale price. Waited 4 days and lo and behold the price dropped almost $900. Maybe because they can’t seem to get rid of it and have had it on the lot since June. Decided to give it a second go and made an appointment with another sales associate. I go in and things seem well. They break down the pricing and even showed me an itemized pricing list of their dealer add-ons, which are ridiculous, but I appreciated seeing it all broken down. The package is $3995 additional. I understand that “maybe” we wouldn’t be able to take it all off but the $1800 security system was the number one thing I did NOT want. Read any dealer contract and it will say that the purchase of theft protection is VOLUNTARY and not a requirement for the purchase, lease, or financing of a vehicle. Well, they refused to take it off. If they would’ve, I could have definitely closed a deal with them. I was willing to overlook the $1200 for “Finishing Touch”, which correct me if I’m wrong, is just a sealant that probably costs them $50 a bottle, if even that. They also told me they wouldn’t be able to use my loan from my credit union and I would HAVE to go through their financing. But the first time I came in they told me they worked directly with OCCU and could easily use and access my loan. Seems fishy. I understand that they are also trying to make money, but seems like they’re doing too much. Used car prices are starting to go down, it shouldn’t have been this hard to try and make a deal with them. Almost $29,000 for a used Corolla is insanity and I think most people would laugh in my face if I told them that’s what I paid. Tough. I really liked the car they had but it’s not worth it to have to deal with this dealership. Extremely disappointing. This is a time where I wish you could rate negative stars. More

*0 Star* Where to start about this proclaimed "Family Owned" dealership with a Toyota badge. Such bad rep for our respected Toyota Family brand, tainted by the Rude Sales Manager (Julio Ruiz) representin Owned" dealership with a Toyota badge. Such bad rep for our respected Toyota Family brand, tainted by the Rude Sales Manager (Julio Ruiz) representing this dealership. Let me start- Called in to check if the Used 2007 Lexus Special deal was still available, salesman said yes come on in. The advertise special sales price was listed for $6882. Came in at 7:55PM, Test drove the car, liked it made an offer for $6500, the incompetent Sales Manager came back stating he can't go down 1 penny. I accepted what the advertised price was, as I did liked the car. Incompetent Sales Manager came back and jot down random price of $9500 is what I should pay. I asked him why the price increased and how did you come up with such random figure. He didn't have a legitimate answer, but stated he added $4K package that must be paid. I was dumbfounded, and thinking to myself this place can be sued for false advertising. He made me feel as though I was uneducated and dumb enough not to question his logic, almost belittling me in a way. I work in Client Relations for a large institution, and to be treated like this was totally unacceptable and embarrassing for this business that he represented. Perhaps I suggest to coach this individual Sales Manager. I wasted my time taking Lfyt to and from this dealership from my home costing me about $100. This dealership wasted my time and wasted my money, without honoring there advertised price online. I'll make sure to reach out to the state AG and other Media outlets for investigation about this dealership sales tactic on there used cars sales misrepresentation. As other reviews suggest they have been doing the same to other customers. An organization operating like this will not last if they continue this kind of tactic. I should of stick with online Car Shopping, instead of this brick and mortar operation. This is why these type of dealerships will be obsolete soon as Technology in buying cars online will capture significant marketshare. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with this Dealership, particularly if you are looking to buy a USED car! More
The service writer flat out lied to me on more than one occasion. When I pointed out the inconsistencies in his statements he didn't even blink... or apologize. I saw on their website that they were taking inventory on a new 2022 Tundra with the specifications I was interested in, so immediately I used their website's chat feature, which connected me to a salesman v a new 2022 Tundra with the specifications I was interested in, so immediately I used their website's chat feature, which connected me to a salesman via text. Just via text, I could tell his over-assertive-ness. First he asked if I could come in today (mind you a truck in transit) to "negotiate and pre-contract it". I informed him I would love to talk numbers, because of my hectic schedule, and in this day in age with the current times, I would rather communicate remotely until we get closer to negotiating a deal. So I responded that I understand their particular dealers policy, but it probably will not happen and thanked him for his time. I mentioned that other dealerships I've been communicating with have obliged to talk to me via phone/e-mail/text. With no acknowledgement of what I said, 5 minutes later I received a text response "are you financing or paying cash?" and so I responded that I am going to be financing. again, a very short response: "how much are you putting down? 5 or 6 year term?" at which I respectfully responded "Well I would like to see your numbers first. What is the MSRP and is your dealership asking for a market adjustment?" this is where it took a turn, he then (what I will describe as) barrages me with 3 texts back to back "WHAT HAVE OTHER DEALERS OFFERED YOU?" "DO THEY EVEN HAVE THE VEHICLE?" "YES, THERE ARE DEALER ACCESSORIES AND A MARKET ADJUSTMENT ON ALL OF OUR VEHICLES" So without answering his questions, I said "thanks for your time, you're clearly dodging my question and you don't have to worry about what I'm talking about with other dealers, I'm talking to you now. Thank you for your time, I'll take my business elsewhere. I'm sure you won't have any problems selling this truck." I was just very put off by this interaction. It's been a few years since I've dealth with a car salesman like this, I've lucked out with good car buying experiences lately. I just hope with the current market the way it is, car dealerships aren't reverting back to these devious sales tactics. More
Horrible people in sales! Bait and switched pricing from 9000 to 13000 when I was paying cash. Hung up on me twice. Did not respond to my inquiry for 6 hours, 9000 to 13000 when I was paying cash. Hung up on me twice. Did not respond to my inquiry for 6 hours, More
This was a negative experience. But the star rating doesn't allow a negative value. I found the vehicle on the Carfax website, which linked to the Elmore Toyota site. The price looked competitive so doesn't allow a negative value. I found the vehicle on the Carfax website, which linked to the Elmore Toyota site. The price looked competitive so I emailed and then called to inquire about availability, price, and warranty. Upon arrival I was told the "real" price that should have been disclosed to me by the associate with whom I spoke. The advertised price $ 15,687 plus the “dealer add-ons” for $ 3,995. Thanks for wasting my time by not stating the "real" price when you talked to me on the phone and emailed me the quote. And Richard said very smugly, "You don't have to buy from us." "No hard feelings." and finally "We are done here." More
