I believe Beach Ford Myrtle Beach, SC intentionally over schedules their service department. They tell you up front that they have a 48 hour diagnostic policy, meaning once they have your car, they will get schedules their service department. They tell you up front that they have a 48 hour diagnostic policy, meaning once they have your car, they will get back to you with their quote within 48 hours. Okay, but for a simple install of a $40 window motor)? I can see it taking up to 48 hours to diagnose a serious issue (i.e. transmission). My 2022 Bronco's window quit going up and down. I found this to be fairly common and supposedly routine problem to fix after reviewing Bronco forums. Unfortunately, Beach Ford's policy of 48 hours to diagnose allows them to schedule you bringing your vehicle in and then not even looking at it for a day and a half. Meanwhile I go without my only vehicle. I called a couple of Ford dealerships while I waited and was told typically same day diagnostic for something as simple as a window not going up and down. I've had a window switch, a window regulator and a window motor replaced on other vehicles over the years. Never took more than leaving my car with them longer than a day and a half - biggest part of that was waiting for parts to arrive. I didn't purchase my Bronco from Beach Ford as I was living in another state when I ordered it. I will travel out of the area for future service. I was very pleased with routine service I had with Jones Ford Shallotte, but it's now a 50 minute drive, Thought I'd try local folks at Beach Ford. Never again! More
We took her car to this dealership, they charge over $200 for a diagnostic, it needed a sensor valve, so they said because the check engine light was on. Almost $800 later they said it was fixed, but stress for a diagnostic, it needed a sensor valve, so they said because the check engine light was on. Almost $800 later they said it was fixed, but stress that I should replace the spark plugs and the wires. But it wasn't really time for that is what I thought, check engine light come back on within a couple of days and it's funny how I had it checked somewhere else and they said it was misfaring on one of the cylinders and indicated it probably needed plugs and wires. My feeling stored this was they don't know how to fix a car just like every other dealership, if the computer says something they just do it, my feelings is nowadays everyone is a part exchanger they don't know what a real mechanic is anymore. So they put so many parts on your vehicle and charge you for all of it, hoping that something they done will fix your vehicle. I do not recommend this dealership to anyone, I have also dealt with them in the past about buying vehicles, my advice to anyone you will save thousands if you go to North Carolina just over the line, one time I saved $8,000 in one deal for the exact same vehicle it was a 80th anniversary Jeep Grand Cherokee, but here's the funny thing, the one they had was only two wheel drive, the one I ended up buying in North Carolina was four-wheel drive, and was $8,000 cheaper. They always want to take you inside and set you down and pull out a piece of paper for you to sign something about if I take this to my manager are you willing to do this then they think they can trap you, don't be that dumb that's not a legal contract they just want to take a figure to their manager with your signature under the figure but that particular paper is not the contract to buy the car, one tried that on me one day and I told him to go to xxxx I got up and went and bought the Jeep for $8,000 cheaper, and then drove by the front door rolled down my window and told that salesperson I got this $8,000 cheaper More
Most of the sales people are really good. Joe Feinberg is great, Jim Brown is great. The GM is your typical high pressure salesman that tries to bully you into a bad deal. The service depa Joe Feinberg is great, Jim Brown is great. The GM is your typical high pressure salesman that tries to bully you into a bad deal. The service department's communicaiotn is awful. I dropped my vehicle off on Sunday for a Monday morning appointment. I called the next day to check on the vehicle at which time the receptionist forwrds you to an auomated mailbox for vehicle status. There is an option for quicker responses for text messages so i agree. Two hours go by and it now almost the end of the day and still no call back or response to my text. I call back and am put on hold for ten minutes. Talk to Jim who says he does not know and would get back to me. He texts me saying vehicle will be done the following day by noon. No update on what they did or whayt an oil change is taking two days. Very poor experience. Really contemplating getting rid of my Ford just do I do not have to deal with this dealership anymore. I was looking to buy the first Ford vehicle ever in my life . Major Major big huge mistake!! Talk about horrific , outrageous and even down right nasty. Had a sales person that did not do her due diligenc life . Major Major big huge mistake!! Talk about horrific , outrageous and even down right nasty. Had a sales person that did not do her due diligence when asking questions nor did the other person . When I go buy a car I answer their questions and I do not pretend to know how to sale cars nor do I read minds. I had signed paperwork and had the Ford page to receive rewards and was getting ready to add the new car on my phone oh and getting ready to put my things in the new car so the sales person kept saying. Turns out she didn’t ask the questions she assumed nothing was owed on my vehicle and never asked and I figured this day and time you can tell if the vehicle is paid off or not with technology being what it is. But the horrendous thing is after signing paper work to purchase this vehicle they said opps can’t do it . Your people missed up and you blame the customer and make them feel as if they did something wrong . Don’t assume customers can read minds we are dealing with professional sales people that should know what questions to ask and you should never expect a customer to know everything you know especially with today’s technology. We depend on you to ask the right questions otherwise I would not need you. After all of this they called me a couple of times I decided to call them back and they wanted a chance to see what they could do and I gave them a chance to be disappointed and really let down by this company! Your people missed up and yet the customer pays the price. The thing is after you know the customer had a very horrific experience with you don’t call them back unless you can make it right because it only adds a very distasteful taste to doing business with you. Word of mouth and etc.. go far but I do want to THANK YOU FOR THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER IN MY LIFE TIME IN BUYING A VEHICLE!! Bravo!!! More
I am a 23 year old woman fresh out of college. I was excited to use the money I earned at my first full time job to purchase my dream car. I chose this Ford dealership because I heard such great I was excited to use the money I earned at my first full time job to purchase my dream car. I chose this Ford dealership because I heard such great things about it. I very excitedly bought my first 2018 mustang for $22k. I noticed problems with the car a week after purchase. The problems were not evident (simply slight vibration in idle) and since there were no warning lights I assumed this was how this type of car ran. When a warning light did come on (about two weeks after purchase) I brought it to a third party mechanic who said the car was in bad shape. I brought it back to the dealership with proof from the third party mechanic but was given the run around by the sales team for over 2 hours. Eventually, I agreed to let them look at the car before any further discussion. The service department determined that it only needed a small repair which I paid for. They fixe it, test drove it, and said that it was fine now. When I got the car back I noticed that the vibration was still there. I was ignorantly under the belief that the vibration was a normal part of this car and the check engine light must have been due to another issue that was resolved. However, the light came back on while I was out of town so I brought it to another Ford dealership. This dealership told me that the previous dealership’s fix was laughable. They told me to take it back and get it fixed for free. I now have 2 mechanics who have looked at the car and refused to service it because they said it was this dealership's responsibility to fix it for free. I recently was told from this service department that they have now determined it needs a >$5k fix. However, both the sales and service team have refused to work with me. I believe that if I buy a car from a reputable dealership it should be in working condition. I have bought three cars before and have never had this awful of an experience with any dealership. DO NOT buy a used car from this dealership. The Ford dealership in Conway is much more reputable and willing to work with you when these situations arise. Plus it is only 30 minutes up the road. More

Beach Automotive Group 📢 WARNING! !!!!!📢 I have NEVER in my life experience such horrible customer service. This company doesn't care about their customers. Sad to say I gave my 2 !!!!!📢 I have NEVER in my life experience such horrible customer service. This company doesn't care about their customers. Sad to say I gave my 2 day old Bronco back to these crooks.🤬 Story time. 2.5 years ago my Wife and I purchased 2 vehicles on the same day. These purchases were hours apart. We found out days later that both vehicles were put under my Wife's credit. It took MONTHS to get that corrected. Also not a word from Beach Ford. Fast forward to Wednesday. I went to Beach Ford and test drove this Bronco. Fell in love. Went home and ask/begged lol my Wife to let me purchase this. She agreed. I then submitted an online application. Went back there and signed contract. Yesterday my Wife gets 3 inquires on her credit. I had 2 credit pulls on my credit. Come to find out it happened AGAIN!!!!! My Bronco was under her credit. 🤬 Both Cliff (Sales Manager) and Nick (Finance Manager) admitted that when I signed the contract they KNEW 100% that they had this loan under my Wife's credit and not mine. 🤬 They didn't say 1 word the 2 hours I was there filling out paperwork. SHADY!!!!!! After calls back and forth with the worse ignorant office manager I have ever met Cliff he acted like this was no big deal. That this wasn't an issue and that this bank that was the one I signed the contract with was under my name. Which was a lie. Cliff nor the owner Wes dont care about their customers. They never responded to one email I sent. So 2 hours at this dealership tonight was a complete waste of time. When asked what can you offer us since this is the 2nd time you guys screwed up this bad. I said what if I pay cash? Their response...we don't make as much when you pay cash. Really? I also asked what can they do to compensate us for this. Maybe free service plan i asked? His responds. I feel the crime doesn't fit the punishment. 🤡 So after that I handed the Bronco keys in and got my F-150 back. If Beach Ford had the last car on this planet I would walk barefoot for the rest of my life before buying another vehicle from these people. They will never get 1 penny from me again. And I advise any of you reading this to avoid them too! More
I PURCHASED a 2021 ford ranger tremor from Beach Ford in February 2022 and my whole experience is beyond perfect WHY? Because it has been 3 weeks and I still look at prices of other dealers pre owned in February 2022 and my whole experience is beyond perfect WHY? Because it has been 3 weeks and I still look at prices of other dealers pre owned rangers and none compare to the price that Beach Ford finalized for me others are any where from $500 to $1300 over for a lariat ranger and not even being a tremor .So people do your research and compare Beach Ford sells quality pre owned vehicles for less More
