The wife and I decided to purchase a 2024 or 2025 Lincoln Aviator and trade in a 2015 Lincoln Navigator. I did my research and homework. I got pre-approved for the loan with my Credit Union and researched th Aviator and trade in a 2015 Lincoln Navigator. I did my research and homework. I got pre-approved for the loan with my Credit Union and researched the pricing for my trade in and the new car purchase. I then traveled to Bayway Lincoln on the Gulf Freeway. I met with the General Manager (Lance) who had assigned his salesman (Gilbert Thomas) to help me. I had talked to Gilbert by phone and provided him with a description of our desired car and specs. When we arrived, Gilbert had the car cleaned and waiting for our review. He then began to explain each of the bells and whistles for the car. There were a lot of bells and whistles but Gilbert patiently explained each to my wife and I. I felt bad that the review of them took so long for my wife so I told him that we would read about the others. He declined and patiently continued to explain each. When he finished, he walked us to his office and offered a price for the car that beat all my researched prices and expectations. He then had my trade in inspected and again beat my expectations. They then beat the low preapproved credit union interest rate for the vehicle financing. I also had disabled handicapped license plates which they registered for transfer to the new car. Complete package of satisfaction. More
This is the worst place for general maintenance. It does no good to make an appointment. A simple oil change took 2-1/2 hours and the tire rotation never happened.
