Far beyond the level of untrustworthiness you would expect of a used car dealership. Lied to give me a higher interest rate, snuck in a maintenance plan I specifically turned down, were a nightmare expect of a used car dealership. Was really excited to purchase my first Jeep and had been looking for over a month for the right one. After contacting the sales rep and aligning on coming for the test drive I drove 1hr to test drive and fi looking for over a month for the right one. After contacting the sales rep and aligning on coming for the test drive I drove 1hr to test drive and finalize an offer on my trade in. I had previously received a trade in value from a couple of other dealers and knew what the truck was worth. So, I didn't push to get something over an email, which was 1 first mistake. They asked to see my vehicle and after about 5 mins of waiting the rep comes back with an offer that was much lower than I had previously received (ie, from other dealerships). . The rep said there was some ticking noise the manager heard and that's why the price was low. I informed the sales rep that I know the truck is worth $ amount and the rep goes back to discuss. On top of the low offer there was a $6K EEP charge that I overlooked bc I was focused on the trade in. When the sales rep came back I asked about the $6K and was told what was included...maint pkg, free car washes, oil change, etc. I calmly told the rep I don't want any of that and that I lived 1 hr north of this location and would almost never be back down here. Some more back a forth and then I get the main guy telling me that the price on the Jeep was lower than MSRP and I was trying to get my truck for MSRP. He never budged on the trade in offer and only knocked the EEP down to $2K. In the end I told him he should just put the price they want for the vehicle on the internet and stop trying to upsale all this other junk. I simply asked for my keys and left. I hope folks can read this post and better prepare themselves for the upsale shock. The Jeep hunt continues! More
