Update follow up on being overcharged on an estimate on 09/05/2024 of $137.46. The service manager Hunter Bruder promised me the check in the mail on 09/10/2024...no check. It is now 10/06/2024. The accounting department of a major company has no one smart enough to credit my credit card or use the USPS to mail a check. I have made at least 10 attempts to get someone to help including e-mails that were never answered and on 10/04/2024 I sent a certified letter per small claims court to the general manager and now I will wait and either he will send me my money, or I will see him in Livingston, Tx small claims court. I am 77 years old, and I guess they think that since I am a senior citizen, and they will take advantage of me, but I have nothing better to do since the fish are not biting and I am getting bored. More

He told me that in order to get the check I would have to drive 50 miles one way to pick up. It seems he either lied to me about sending the check or no one at the dealership is smart enough to use the mail. it is strange since I get mail from all over the United States including fed-ex and ups I guess the small claims court is next, and he can drive the 50 miles. Working with Baytown Hyundai to purchase my wife's new Palisade was an excellent buying experience. From the politeness of the GM Jarryd, non-pushiness of the finance manager Ray and helpfulness of the sa Palisade was an excellent buying experience. From the politeness of the GM Jarryd, non-pushiness of the finance manager Ray and helpfulness of the salesman Adrian it was a great example of what a car buying experience should be. Adrian spent ample time walking my wife though the different trim levels to which she is overjoyed with the Limited she chose. Their prices and discounts easily beat out the area competition, which is an added bonus for choosing this dealership. Seeing my wife happy again after her recent bout with Ovarian cancer (now in remission) makes this purchase a decision I’m glad we made. More
