My visit to Bayside VW Service Center on December 19th went very smoothly from the start to the finish. Service Advisor Giuseppe Coppola was very courteous and helpful. He texted and called to keep me up went very smoothly from the start to the finish. Service Advisor Giuseppe Coppola was very courteous and helpful. He texted and called to keep me up to date, they sent video to share information about the process, provided car service to take me home after I left my car in the Service Center and the next day again to get me to the Service Center when my car was ready. Being loyal to Volkswagen for more than 40 years made my experience even more enjoyable. More

Our first experience - upon arrival there is no signage to direct you. Where to go? What to do? Nobody greets you to say anything. When we called to let them know - never heard back. Terrible service. More

Finally! I bought my 2013 VW CC from a South Shore dealership and in the first few years it spent more time in the shop in than on the road. Fortunately, what I bought my 2013 VW CC from a South Shore dealership and in the first few years it spent more time in the shop in than on the road. Fortunately, whatever the issue, it was under warranty. At the time, I was bringing the car to a south shore service center because it was close to home. The place was awful for a lot of reasons. The experience of a new car having significant issues and the horrible customer service competently turned me off to VW. Recently, I had another major issue and I couldn't bring myself to give the south shore service department any more business. Since I work up on the north shore, I decided to try Bayside VW/Volvo service station in Great Neck shot. The minute I walked into the building, I felt the difference. Someone greeted me. They listened patiently as listed the litany of things that have gone wrong with the car. I was back for something that had already been fixed. They agreed it was frustrating and I finally felt heard. While I waited to be picked up, someone asked if I wanted coffee. Workers who passed by said hello. It was all very different and very refreshing. Later that day, I got a call from Zach Gehm, my service coordinator. What a pleasure it was to work with him! While they couldn't fix my issue in a day, Zach kept me in loop by contacting me at least once a day until my car was fixed. When I picked up my car he, in detail, explained what was wrong and even brought me out to the car, popped open the hood and explained what they did. A few days later I had another issue and I called Zach and I was all annoyed. He fast tracked me into getting my car in to be looked at and it was resolved in the same day. S While I love my CC, I am disappointed with VW and I likely will not buy another one. My experience with the people I encountered, particularly Zach, has me seriously considering a Volvo as my next car just so I can work with people who care about their customers and their customer service. More
