I would highly recommend this dealership if you are looking to buy or lease a Volkswagen. This is my third time going to buy a Volkswagen. Angelo, the finance manager, was very helpful in explaining about all the cars I was interested in leasing. I felt comfortable talking to him since it was the second time I went there to look for a car. I also trusted him because I was happy with my experience here from my last car. Oswald, the salesman, was also very helpful. He showed me different cars and he let me test drive them as well. Finally, Jack DePalo, the sales manager, helped me make my final decision about the car I chose and gave me a very good price. More

Bayside Volkswagen was the best possible experience as a first-time, new-car buyer. I did tons of homework on my new GTI and after a long search I finally spoke to Jack DePalo, General Manager at Bayside, w first-time, new-car buyer. I did tons of homework on my new GTI and after a long search I finally spoke to Jack DePalo, General Manager at Bayside, who was able to beat the most competitive pricing in the New York tri-state area by $400. And that was in comparison to a car with 406 miles, which the other dealer considered "new". When I finally went in to sign for the car, Danny Yankov, made buying my first car a fun and stress-free experience. Danny guided me through the process with an enthusiasm uncharacteristic of the usual "sales guy". And over the course of the next two weeks, before my car's delivery, Danny was available by phone and email to answer the questions and concerns which naturally arise during the process. I knew how much I loved my 2011 GTI before even making the first step towards ownership. But Danny Yankov and Bayside Volkswagen made it happen for me and I appreciate that they did it the right way. Wonderful experience! The manager of this show room took the time to come and say, "hi" to me. This was my first new vehicle purchase and Jeffrey really helped make it as easy and quick as possible. He was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle and was very customer friendly. I was in the market for a new car after driving my Mitsubishi for 15 years. I have always heard wonderful things about Volkswagens and decided to purchase one. During my visit to the Bayside dealer, they took the time to explain our options and showed us a car that suited our needs. I was also able to sell them the car that served me well for so long. I would highly recommend that everyone visit the Bayside Volkswagen dealership. They will be treated well and walk away with a high quality automobile at an incredibly fair price. my recent visit to bayside vw, was to purchase my 2008 gti that i had leased. i had already secured a loan from my credit union and needed apurchase order for my credit union to satisfy the loan. i was in gti that i had leased. i had already secured a loan from my credit union and needed apurchase order for my credit union to satisfy the loan. i was informed by the sales mgr. that they could get a loan thru vw credit with a better % rate, it was a little better, and i have been buying or leasing vws since '83 thru vw credit thru GC VW now defunct. But, i was NOT INFORMED UP FRONT ABOUT A $500.00 fee that accompanied this loan, my mistake for not checking each and every figure, that was done when i came home and did my own checking. i immediately called to find out about an extra 500.00 i could not account for, the sales mgr. did not call me back,sales rep. john albanese called to tell me yes it was a sales fee. John did not do the paper work, because he would have went item by item with me , as he had done many times over the yrs. at GC, i absolve john of any complicity in this sale. my bad for not asking more questions and checking the numbers. but its no way to run a business.
