Due to low dealer inventories and high gas prices, locating this 2022 Ford Escape Titanium Hybrid was a challenge. When using the Ford Inventory search, I emailed and/or called about 10 different deal locating this 2022 Ford Escape Titanium Hybrid was a challenge. When using the Ford Inventory search, I emailed and/or called about 10 different dealerships (NC, SC & VA) of which only 2 had one in stock, 2 said they expected delivery by end of June and the rest said they were ordered for a customer or a deposit had already been placed. When I spoke to Chris he advised that, like most dealerships, they were not currently accepting the Ford X-Plan discount program. However, several days later he got back to me and said their GM said they would accept it for this purchase. I had a 4 hour drive up to King George, VA and as soon as I arrived I went for quick test drive with Chris. As soon as we got got back I signed some paperwork and then sat down with the Patrick the finance manager to finalize everything. It was about 1 hour from the time I pulled into the dealership to the time that I pulled out with my new vehicle. Chris was a straight shooter throughout the process, which is hard to find these days. No one at Bayside Ford played any of the "games" that most dealerships are notorious for and why they get bad raps, so the entire process was extremely refreshing. Overall, this was the smoothest vehicle purchase I have ever made and want to say that I would highly recommend Chris and Bayside Ford team. More
I scheduled an appointment that would allow Bayside to address several recall items that were required and to locate and repair a noted squeak that appeared to come from my suspension. Despite having the car for a week, when I called prior to pick up to ensure everything was done, I was told the technician had stated they couldn't replicate the issue. I told them this was impossible as it was noted everytime I drove the car for over two weeks prior. Since I had taken a picture of the odometer when I dropped it off, I compared it after picking the car up. The vehicle had been drive for a grand total of .3 miles, telling me that zero attempt had been made to fix the primary issue for me leaving it for a week. This is now the third service related issue I had had with Bayside, from a lack of qualified Ford technicians to incomplete recall repairs where they stated they would call me when parts were in but never did. I am absolutely appalled with the lack of customer service and cannot believe they are opening another service center. Do not use this company, they are absolutely horrendous and when I have spoken with them they do not appear to be concerned that they didn't perform up to any standard. More
