New Jeep Grand Cherokee Horrors IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD I was in the market to lease a new 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. So I came into the dealership and everyone was very IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD I was in the market to lease a new 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. So I came into the dealership and everyone was very pleasant to get the sale. We agreed on the terms of the lease and I was told that I would be notified within a few days when my vehicle has "Landed". I was called two days later (Thursday) and was told that my vehicle will be in the next day (Friday) and I can schedule delivery that evening. Friday morning, I received a VIN number and had my insurance carrier endorse my policy adding the new vehicle as of that day. Midafternoon, I received a call stating that there was a mix up and this vehicle is no longer available. So now I again had to reach out to my insurance company to make the change. I was called back a few days later and was told that the vehicle will arrive within the week and given a new VIN, I was called the next week and scheduled the delivery. The day of the delivery I was again called and told the VIN was different, so now I had to call for the 3rd time to my insurance company to change this. After the most frustrating delivery the car finally. The delivery condition was HORRIBLE. It was missing one of the letters on the name badge and the tires and wheels still had the factory "writing/numbering" on them, which I had to clean myself. Unfortunately, the problem was not over, immediately I noticed that the car is having transmission shifting issues between 1st and 2nd gear in slow acceleration. After I called and complaint I was told to bring it in, I was inconvenienced to bring in a brand new car that was less than a month old to already be services. After the servicing was completed, I was told that the vehicle needed a "Software Update" and is now fine, which is total BS. The issue still persists and now the car does not down shift properly. The "Wonderful" (sarcasm) sales person Juan Arevalo, has stopped responding to my emails. (GREAT SERVICE, RIGHT). I have reached out to Jeep Corporate and am escalating this issue as the car clearly has a mechanical fault that the dealership is unwilling to admit, I have schedule an appointment at another Jeep dealership to get this rectified. THIS WAS THE WORST BUYING/LEASING EXPERIENCE THAT I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED AND I HAVE HAD OVER A DOZEN NEW CARS THROUGHOUT THE YEARS. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP THEIR SERVICE IS INEXCUSABLE. More

Excellent It was time for a new car and deciding what we wanted and could actually afford was difficult at first, until we met Edwin Diaz. He was super helpful, It was time for a new car and deciding what we wanted and could actually afford was difficult at first, until we met Edwin Diaz. Edwin Diaz made the entir I was super nervous about going car shopping for the first time, but my hand-me-down '98 Toyota Camry had seen better days. Edwin Diaz made the entire process a breeze! He was super friendly and really took the time to make sure that I was getting exactly what I wanted for a price that was within my budget. Before I got there I figured I wouldn't sign any papers that day, but wound up leasing a 2015 Jeep Compass and driving it home that night. I have and will continue to tell everyone what an amazing experience I had with Edwin. My boyfriend was with me and he has already decided that when his lease is up with Nissan, he will be heading back to Bayside to have Edwin put him in his next car. When I got home and told my mom about the positive experience I had she said that she wants me to take her there to meet with him also when her lease with Hyundai is over. It was a pleasure to work with Edwin and I can't thank him enough for everything he did. I look forward to the next three years in my Jeep and to my next car shopping experience with him! -Carol A.
