My New Vehicle Purchase My experience with the staff during the sale was great. Since I didn’t come in to the dealership until early evening on Saturday, I did have to return My experience with the staff during the sale was great. Since I didn’t come in to the dealership until early evening on Saturday, I did have to return on Monday to get the car cleaned. There was an issue of glue like spots on the exterior that I had to point out to the detailer after the vehicle was finished. Once I brought it to his attention, he fixed the problem. Not Technicians just part swappers! I took my daughter's Jeep to Riverland dealership for repair instead of a local repair shop expecting a higher quality of service. Was I wrong! After I took my daughter's Jeep to Riverland dealership for repair instead of a local repair shop expecting a higher quality of service. Was I wrong! After bringing in the Jeep they diagnosed the problem as a bad alternator. I questioned the diagnoses the service rep told me about his mechanic has over 20 years of experience and the problem is the alternator! So I said pull the alternator and check it. They said they did so I agreed to replacing the alternator $700. Three days later the Jeep started having the same previous problem. I call up the service rep. He said let him talk to his mechanic (20 years of experience). After talking to the mechanic the service rep said they will have to change the alternator again. No way! I was not bring the Jeep back to them. I decided to bring it to community motors in Hammond, La. They check it out and found it to be a faulty battery cable! WOW! More
