I am FURIOUS with my recent service experience. It has helped finalize my decision to trade my Chrysler Pacifica, but not here! And I will not buy another vehicle from the Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep family. It has become irrelevant how much I liked my salesman and the finance team. When 2 weeks into my ownership I experienced an accident (not my fault), I used my dealership and body shop for the repairs! The body shop was great but the mechanical repairs from the service area were a nightmare and every time I got my car back, something else wasn’t working, The repairs weren’t actually complete, and on and on and on. I did not complain or “act a fool” like I wanted to. I kept giving it back and kept paying for my rental out of pocket because the $1500 cap with my insurance for a rental had long since ran out. But I kept my opinion to myself, and did not complain. My van was brand new, but after the repairs, it has never been right again. There are numerous little annoying things that I paid so much money to have on my van, that don’t work. The computer system that runs the touch screen goes in and out on a whim for seemingly no reason, leaving me unable to work so many functions. Then each day, a few more features will begin to work. It’s in and out every week. There is a rattling noise outside. Sensors don’t work. I could go on and on. I got tired of taking it back because I can’t pay for the van plus a rental for months and months again like I have already done, while they attempt to repair it, and then it’s never really right no matter what. So anyway, there are all those hard feelings, but I keep using them. However, this past Tuesday did me in! My husband took my van in (that barely has 23k miles on it), He was busy on the phone with work while he awaited a “quick lube” oil change. They kept coming back telling him that various cabin and air conditioning filters needed changed. He just said ok without being told the cost and $300 later, he was ready to go! I was furious once I found out. It was just supposed to have an oil change! The price of the oil change itself was close to EXTORTION! Especially since I had a coupon that was supposed to guarantee $99 up front synthetic oil change that paid for 3 total oil changes for the customer. This was not applied and the charge for my one oil change was nearly $200 plus insanely high new “filters” for the cabin and air conditioner. And guess what?? My like new van, that went in for only an oil change and got all these new filters, whose air conditioning was in perfect order when it went it, came back NON FUNCTIONAL. It is blowing hot air from outside!!! No air conditioning at all! If I take it back to the service shop that messed it up while changing a filter that I do not believe needed changed, then I will need a rental for who knows how long. I am so angry, frustrated and just genuinely heart broken. I can’t enjoy my van because of our choosing to use the service department at our dealership and we have CONSTANT problems. I’m just sick over all this the week of Christmas. I am about to trade next month and just be done completely. I never wanted to bash anyone but after staying quiet with all the mess we went thru just to get it usable after my accident, this latest experience has just been more than I can take! I attend cancer treatments in Houston, TX monthly and I have to have a working car and functioning AC!! More
Not a pleasant process on the service side. Would love to find a reason to purchase my vehicles from them but just can't based on these experiences. More
