I hate to write this, but I was blown away with how bad the service was. I had a service appointment at 8:30 AM and at 3pm the only thing done to my truck was they had drained the oil. Not acceptable, I choose Baird because I had heard horror stories about the other Ram Dealer and drove 30 minutes out out of my way to use Bayird. I would have expected a call if there service was going to be delayed all day. They still did not finish the service rotate tires or check exhaust as I had requested because I told them to put the oil in it and get it on the ground because I had an appointment I had to get to. The service check in lady Kelsey was super nice and apologetic, but obviously it was beyond her control. I've heard nothing but good things about Bayird, but after this experience I'm not sure I will return, I'll drive an hour out of my way to not have to deal with the headache. I think I was give a $20 discount and still have to rotate my own tires and I'll have to schedule another appoint elsewhere to have the exhaust looked at. More
I dropped my wife's van off for a new alternator and it took 3 weeks for them to get the part. I was asked to pay for the alternator in advance, as if they thought that I would not pay my bill upon comple took 3 weeks for them to get the part. I have a truck, Dodge Ram, but my wife had to drive that to work. I asked if they had any vehicles to loan to customers during times like this and was told that they only had vehicles to rent. Car dealers use to advertise "loaner" cars for customers to use while they waited for their vehicles to be serviced, but in all the years that I have done business with Bayird I have never been able to get one. A former co-worker of mine was given one, a brand-new Jeep, a few years back whenever his wife's car had to be worked on at a rival dealership in Jonesboro. I have repeatedly asked for one in the past before my retirement, but one was never available. I will never buy another vehicle from Bayird. More
It was absolutely terrible. I left my 2015 Sahara Unlimited with Bayird Blytheville in February needing a clutch replacement. There we’re absolutely no issues with the 6 speed I left my 2015 Sahara Unlimited with Bayird Blytheville in February needing a clutch replacement. There we’re absolutely no issues with the 6 speed transmission at the time. Just clutch. Got it back 3.5 weeks later. Drove off the lot and the transmission popped out of first gear, the housing around the transmission was hot, loud, and eventually began to smoke. Tried to take it back, was told it would have to be rescheduled. I wound up taking it to Bayird Paragould after never hearing back from Blytheville. Three days later I spoke with a representative by the name of Baltz. Told me that I needed a new transmission. I tried to explain that there were no transmission issues prior to leaving it with Bayird Blytheville. He told me the clutch repair had nothing to with the transmission, that the two had nothing to do with one another. Baltz told me there was no evidence that Bayird Blytheville damaged my vehicle. Again, I tried to explain that they had in fact damaged it due to the obvious transmission issue that did not exist prior to leaving it. I have contacted an attorney and am waiting for them to review some records associated with the repair of my vehicle. More
Buying the vehicle was great, even considered buy another vehicle from them. We had a couple issues, one with the paint that was promised to be fixed at sale, and one we found later with the the wiper fluid vehicle from them. It took me 2 months of calling to get someone to call me back to get an appointment, then they couldn’t do them at the same day so had to make two trips. My sales person lied to me and said that my husband came in with the truck to make an appointment and didn’t show up when my husband has never driven my truck. I said I think you’re mistaken to which he continued to say I know it was him. Then I finally got the appointment dropped it off they said they would call me as soon as they took it over to let me know when to pick it up, but never called and a repair that was supposed to be a day or two turned into 5 days and me having to call multiple times to find out if and when I could pick it up. Great customer service when buying…horrible after your a customer. More
